Skool Grind SL Addressing a lack of entrepreneurship education in schools through fun initiatives that help students

Every student deserves support - someone who listens, understands, and helps them see beyond difficult moments.

Sometimes, one experience is enough to shake a young person’s confidence, affect their self-worth, and even push them away from school.

This is one such story from a student in our Career Guidance Program.

It’s a reminder that guidance and counseling in our schools is not optional, it is essential.

The Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Sierra Leone was a resounding success, with over 1,000 attendees and representation from across every region of the country.

It brought together government ministers, students, delegates, exhibitors, and partners, creating a vibrant space for learning, collaboration, and innovation. A key question on everyone's mind was how can Sierra Leone continuously advance robotics initiatives within the Government’s Big Five Agenda?

The main higlight of the day was the Youth challenge which had seven schools gunning for the top prize of NLE 40,000.

St. Edwards Secondary School emerged as the winner taking home the top prize and
Government Secondary School (Bo School) followed as 1st runner-up, receiving NLe 20,000.

The challenge was a reminder of the creativity potential of young people, reinforcing what can be achieved when innovation is nurtured and supported.

Events like this reaffirm the need for continued conversations and strategic investments in emerging technologies to drive and accelerate national development and we are excited to contribute its success.
