The Guidance and Counselling Foundation Sierra Leon
e was formed by group of young professionals whose desire was to change the narratives of Sierra Leonean, and has been providing free guidance and counseling services for women, children and youths in Bombali District, since January, 2017 and formerly registered as a Non-Governmental Organization on 31st August 2020 with the aim of providing effective and efficient Guidance and Counselling. Board of Trustee: The organization has a Board of Trustees comprising of Five
(5) members who are nominal heads of the organization and are charged with the responsibility to supervise the administrative body of the organization. whilst Six Management staff are saddled with the day-to-day activities of the organization comprises of Executive Director, Program Manager, Finance Officer, Project officers, Field officers and Four support staff. The registered office is No 28 Quarry Locust Step, Eastern Freetown. Vision Statement
Guidance and counselling selling services is to provide effective and efficient Guidance and Counseling where each and every human being is treated as a unique with psychological, mental and Emotional stress free in order to have social economic growth. We will make a concerted effort to communicate and demonstrate our concerns for and commitment to our youths. As a result, each individual will feel that he/she is valued as a member of the community

Our Achievement’s:
Guidance and Counselling foundation has been operating in Bombali and Port Loko district of Sierra Leone since 2017. During these periods we transformed the minds of young people, who then where going through emotional stress. We also provided free Counselling for school pupils who are finding it difficult in making choice of career part into the University. Our achievements cut across different areas. Through our programs, we have seen progressive changes in the lives of the children, omens and communities. Changes in their behavior, attitude and view of life. Several children, teenagers and youths have benefited from our financial, educational and moral assistance. Key Contribution. As an organization, we have contributed immensely to the plight of children’s and women’s within these communities through support for education, livelihood, agriculture, Health and SGBV. We also contributed to the promotion of children’s health and hygiene through guidance and counselling of communities in public health and hygiene related issues for parents and children. We also contributed to the developments of widow’s welfare in these communities. We have built networks and relationships that support our vision and mission morally and financially.
