What We Do
Child Welfare Society - Sierra Leone is an advocacy, non-governmental and nonprofit making charitable organization that focuses on the development and welfare of vulnerable children (adolescent girls, street children, orphans, abandoned, abused, desperate, war-affected, neglected, etc) regardless of their religion, s*x, color or tribe.
We exist to contribute to building a strong platform for promoting and protecting the wellbeing of children (adolescent girls), to contribute to their development and care in order for them to grow in dignity and have access to basic amenities such as food, shelter, health education, etc.
The society’s activities are directed to influence and support where necessary the efforts of the government and development partners in ending maternal deaths, reducing infant mortality, hunger, violence, etc of children in vulnerable areas and other barriers that affect women and children
