This post really got me thinking
If a friend joins others to tear you when you're at your lowest, they were never your friend — they were just pretending.
If someone you trusted suddenly flips the script and throws you under the bus when things get tough, they were only around for the good times not for you.
If she leaves you because of one mistake, if she doesn’t fight to understand or forgive, then love was never part of the story, it was just convenience.
If they only cheer for you when you're winning, but go silent when you're struggling, they were never supporters, just spectators waiting for the show.
If they only believe in you when the crowd does, then their loyalty was never to you but to popularity.
Try to understand that:
Real ones don’t switch sides. Real love doesn’t walk away at the first storm. And real people stay when everyone else leaves.
Sometimes it takes betrayal to show you who was never with you. Sometimes it takes the fall to reveal who was only clapping for your rise.
Let them go. Let the mask fall. Because what’s fake will always fade but what’s real will always remain.
