DAQVAH Monday Staff Meeting

The DAQVAH Charity Foundation convened its weekly staff meeting at the meeting room with Alieu Ashidu, Fundraising Volunteer, serving as chair. He warmly welcomed staff to another week of dedicated service, setting a collaborative tone for the discussions ahead.

In his session, the Chief Executive Officer and founder, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, began by praising and thanking Allah for His guidance. He then focused on two critical areas:

- Longrich business: Staff were asked to provide updates on individual sales made last week. The CEO reiterated the importance of the Longrich business to the foundation, emphasizing its role in sustaining operations and supporting DAQVAH’s mission.

- Annual Fundraising Dinner and Awards: Attention turned to preparations for the upcoming 11th edition of the dinner. Staff gave updates on patron distribution, and Alhaji Jalloh encouraged those who had not yet reached their targets to intensify efforts, ensuring all distributions are completed by the end of the month.

Assignments were given to various committees, and robust discussions followed to refine strategies for the success of the 11th Annual Fundraising Dinner and Awards.

The meeting underscored DAQVAH’s commitment to excellence, teamwork, and community engagement.

DAQVAH Taalim Session: CEO Abdul Rahman Jalloh Inspires on “The Life of a Muslim Worker”

The DAQVAH Charity Foundation today hosted another enlightening Taalim Session featuring its Chief Executive Officer and founder, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, as the tutor. Addressing staff and volunteers, he spoke on the topic “The Life of a Muslim Worker”, emphasizing the values that should guide Muslims in their professional lives.

Alhaji Jalloh highlighted six key points that every Muslim worker should embody in their daily activities:

- Respect your boss — Upholding authority and showing humility in the workplace.
- Be kind to colleagues — Fostering teamwork and compassion among peers.
- Good character at work — Demonstrating integrity, honesty, and discipline.
- Patience with difficult subscribers — Handling challenges with calmness and understanding.
- Avoid gossip — Steering clear of rumors and negativity that harm relationships.
- Prevent unnecessary conflict — Promoting peace and unity in the workplace.

He stressed that these principles are not only professional ethics but also Islamic values that strengthen faith and build a harmonious environment. The session encouraged participants to reflect on their roles as workers and as Muslims, ensuring that their conduct aligns with both organizational goals and spiritual responsibilities.

DAQVAH Staff Meeting

The DAQVAH Charity Foundation held its weekly staff meeting at the organization’s meeting room, chaired by the Fundraising Volunteer, Alieu Bockarie Ashidu, who warmly welcomed staff to another productive work week and offered prayers for a successful session.

In his remarks, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, began by expressing gratitude to Allah, emphasizing that He alone deserves praises. He extended a heartfelt welcome to Programs Manager, Yussouf Abass Jalloh, who has rejoined the team after completing his Master’s program in China.

The CEO then turned attention to updates on the Longrich business sales and patron distribution. He urged staff to strengthen customer relationships, retain clients, and intensify sales efforts, stressing the importance of taking the business seriously. On patron distribution, he reminded staff that this week marks the final phase and encouraged them to ensure all tickets are fully distributed.

Concluding his session, Alhaji Jalloh emphasized the importance of subscriber calling and collection, noting that this is the last week of the exercise. He encouraged staff to continue building strong relationships with members to make the collection process smoother and more effective.

DAQVAH Officially Unveils Longrich Studio to Boost Business Growth Through Digital Content

Freetown, Sierra Leone — August 8, 2026:

The DAQVAH Charity Foundation has officially unveiled its newly established Longrich Studio, marking another significant milestone in the organization’s commitment to using media, technology, and creative content to support entrepreneurship and community development.

The unveiling ceremony, held at the DAQVAH Office, brought together key members and leaders of the Longrich business community. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by Leader Richard, who was specially honored to officially open the new studio.

Speaking at the ceremony, DAQVAH CEO, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh described the establishment of the Longrich Studio as the realization of a long-standing dream of bringing all of DAQVAH’s media and production activities together under one roof.

“It has been a long dream for DAQVAH to have all our studios in one place,” the CEO said.

He explained that the DAQVAH office now houses four dedicated creative spaces: Ar-Risalah Studios, Deeds That Last Studio, Bizzy Studios, and the newly unveiled Longrich Studio, all located within the same room.

According to the CEO, the new facility will provide an important platform for Longrich distributors and leaders to create quality content, share product experiences, document customer testimonies, educate the public, and promote the Longrich business more effectively through social media and other digital platforms.

Alhaji Abdul Rahman expressed optimism that the studio would contribute significantly to the growth of the Longrich business, particularly by giving distributors an opportunity to tell their stories and showcase real experiences through professionally produced content.

The event was witnessed by several prominent Longrich leaders, including Leader Fatimah Janatu Bah, a Longrich stockist and the upline of Leader Bizzy.

The unveiling represents DAQVAH’s growing investment in media and digital communication as a tool for empowerment. Through the new Longrich Studio, the organization hopes to communicate their business opportunities, product experiences, and success stories to a wider audience.

DAQVAH Staff Meeting Highlights: Focus on Fundraising and Quarterly Goals

The DAQVAH Charity Foundation held its regular Monday staff meeting at the organization’s meeting room, chaired by Alieu Ashidu, the Fundraising Volunteer. In his opening remarks, Ashidu welcomed staff to another week of updates, reflections on previous tasks, and discussions to chart the course ahead.

The Chief Executive Officer and founder, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh began his session by praising and thanking Allah, before welcoming the team into a new month. He reminded staff that the third quarter is nearing its end, urging all units to revisit their objectives and ensure action points are being implemented effectively.

Alhaji Jalloh emphasized the importance of progress in the Longrich business, requesting updates on last week’s sales. He noted that more effort is required to meet weekly targets, reinforcing the need for consistency and commitment.

The CEO also called for updates on patron distribution for the upcoming Annual Fundraising Dinner and Awards. He reminded staff that all tickets should be distributed by mid August to ease the collection process in September 2026.

Extensive discussions were held on the dinner preparations, with tasks assigned to different committees to ensure smooth planning and ex*****on.

DAQVAH donates baby items to Breastfeeding Mothers in Tanikatopa Chiefdom, Port Loko District

On Sunday, 2nd August, the DAQVAH Charity Foundation marked its annual observance of the Breastfeeding Week by supporting twenty-seven deprived suckling mothers in Rokel Community, Tainkatopa Chiefdom, Port Loko District. These vulnerable women whose babies were new borns were supported with essential baby items.

The program opened with prayers led by the village headman, followed by a welcome address. District focal person, Ayoub Joaque introduced the DAQVAH team and highlighted the foundation’s decade-long interventions in the district, including schools and water wells constructions, Ramadan feeding programs, clothing distributions, and other community supports.

The Executive and Finance Director of DAQVAH, Mariatu Sedik Kamara expressed joy at visiting the community for the first time. She emphasized that donated items which include baby clothes, wrappers, powder, diapers, pants, wipers, and feeding bottles were purchased through contributions from DAQVAH members and donors. She encouraged mothers to practice exclusive breastfeeding, stressing that breast milk contains vital nutrients that protect children from illness.

Nurse Aisha, who is also a member of the foundation, and in charge of the local PHU, thanked DAQVAH for choosing Rokel Community, noting that many parents rely on used clothes for their babies. She described the support as unprecedented in the area.

One of the beneficiaries, Fatmata Kamara shared her gratitude, explaining that in her ten years of motherhood, this was the first time she received new clothes for her baby. She lamented that many husbands neglect their responsibilities, leaving mothers to struggle alone. She prayed for Allah’s blessings upon DAQVAH and its supporters.

The program concluded with the presentation of items by Mariatu Sedik Kamara, collective Duas, and photographs to commemorate the occasion.
