EMPOWERED WOMEN, STRONGER COMMUNITIES!
ON Saturday, 11th October 2025, CHANGE MY STORY SIERRA LEONE hosted a powerful workshop for women in the Godrich community under the theme "Women in Community Building and Financial Literacy."
The event brought together amazing partners, representatives from the Bank of Sierra Leone, the Family Support Unit (Lumley Division), God's Will Vocational Institute, WODA, Social Welfare, Godrich Fish Women Association, Liberal Ataya Base, Word of Life Bible Church - all sharing insights on the vital role women play in building strong communities.
Speakers emphasized the importance of financial literacy, family stability, and the fight against social issues such as sexual offences and kush addiction among youths.
Our CEO, Madam Florence Yeama Silvalie, reaffirmed her passion for empowering women and strengthening families, because when families are strong, communities thrive. 💪💪
