Focused on mind transformation , restructuring of youths, primary and secondary schools students The United Youths For Progress Association is a non-profit Organization founded by Mr. Francis Alusine Sherriff Juana and Mrs. Francess Kuteh Juana together with a group of Youths as to governs and act as a humantarian Institution as to manage the activities of Youths groups in Sierra Leone. The Assoc
iation's scope is to create an instrument with which to partecipate in Cultural, and Social activities as well as education for the Youths thus :
-To promote mutual understanding and co-operation between members of the Association and different ethnic groups with friendly relations of equality and self decision without distinction of race, political, tribal and religion through the establishment of Cultural and Social relationship
-Empowered resourceful Youths to improve on their educational level as well as professional courses for career building and determine constrains in these Communities.
- To create awareness in these Communities about the importance of self help and Community participation as to motivate other Organizations and Areas.
- To participate in health and Sanitation Activities in these Communities as to prevent and control diseases
- To assist members suffering from cronic debilitating or terminal illness through voluntary individual member financially and in kind contribution .....
- The Association to assist in the event in which a member is in difficulty not only on economical strains but as well as procuring even a working facility where necessary and also to highlight appropriate suggestions and recommendations as to enhance sustainable development in these Communities.
- Encourage relations having economic and social scopes between Organizations of different Nationalities. The Association for a more efficent organization of its activities, particularly in the fields of consultancy, marketing and research studies, that are necessary to increase business relations between Foriegn Organizations and Associations in Sierra Leone in future, can make use of the services of : i) experts, ii) sectorial working groups. Also to facilitate, coordinate and evaluate the self help activities undertaking by the Youths in these Areas and to Marshall and channel developmental strategies as to meet the needs of Communities. Membership is open to all Youths from the age of 16 years on to 65years in Sierra Leone. Under 16 years should be considered as guided members under family members/parents decisions ......Family groups. More functions and areas are available and in considerations to be created.
