OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP OF EMPIRE FAMILY KONGBORA ON THE OCCASION OF OUR 5TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

On behalf of the leadership and general membership of Empire Family Kongbora, I sincerely extend my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to every member of our great family for your commitment, loyalty, and continuous support toward the growth and progress of Empire Family Kongbora over the past five years.

Since our establishment, your belief in our vision and your willingness to support every meaningful initiative have been the driving force behind our success. Together, we have continued to stand for unity, love, leadership, and community development for the betterment of our people back home.

We also want to deeply appreciate all our brothers, sisters, friends, and supporters both Home and across different places around the world who have continued to support our mission and humanitarian activities. Your encouragement, contributions, and trust in our ideas have helped us make a positive impact, especially in the area of education and youth empowerment.

As we celebrate this important milestone, we remain committed to inspiring the younger generation, promoting educational awareness, encouraging unity among youths, and reminding everyone that together we can make a meaningful difference in society when we work as one family and believe in ourselves.

As CEO, I want to specially thank all executive members and the entire membership for always coming together with ideas, dedication, and love for our people. Your sacrifices and teamwork continue to strengthen the foundation and future of Empire Family Kongbora.

May Almighty God continue to bless, protect, and guide each and every one of you as we continue this journey of service to humanity and community development.

Together, we will continue to grow stronger and celebrate many more successful years ahead.

Happy New Month to all Members and Executives of Empire Family Kongbora.

As the CEO of this great family, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you. I thank the Almighty, the Creator of the Universe, for keeping us united and protected from January up to this final month of December.

I’m deeply grateful for all we have achieved together—our acts of giving back to our communities, the strong family bond we continue to build, and our commitment to the core values of Empire Family Kongbora: love, respect, and genuine concern for one another. These are not just words; they are the foundation that holds us together.

This year has taught me that we may not always get everything we desire or win every battle as we planned, but what matters is that we keep believing, keep pushing, and keep striving for brighter days ahead.

I wish everyone a joyful and blissful Christmas in advance, and a prosperous New Year 2026.
May our family keep growing in unity, strength, and love.

On behalf of Empire Family Kongbora, I wish to express my sincere and humble appreciation to everyone who made it possible for us to successfully host the Fourth Edition of the Spelling Bee and Debate Competition on November 8, 2025.

It was truly a remarkable event one that inspired and empowered our younger generation here in Kongbora Chiefdom. Your support, presence, and encouragement made all the difference.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to nurturing education and talent in our community. We warmly welcome future partnerships, as well as the support of humanitarian organizations and philanthropists who share our vision of making this program an annual tradition for our children.

Thank you all once again for your continued support and belief in our mission.

We’re glad to announce that all invitation letters have now been successfully delivered to the 10 schools participating in this year’s Fourth Edition of the Spelling Bee and Debate Competition, scheduled for November 8th, 2025.
Our final stop was at UMC School in Senehun, where we were heartbroken to learn that the school currently has only two teachers. On behalf of Empire Family Kongbora, we’re humbly appealing to all descendants and well-wishers of the Senehun Section to come together and support the school by helping employ volunteer teachers.
Even a small monthly stipend can go a long way in keeping these teachers motivated and ensuring that our children continue to learn in a stable classroom environment.

Education is the foundation of every community let’s join hands to keep that foundation strong.

The delivery of invitation letters to schools across Kongbora Chiefdom for the 4th Edition of our Spelling Bee and Debate Competition is still in progress.
It’s been a long and busy day moving from one village to another, meeting pupils and teachers in their schools. Even though it was quite hectic, it honestly felt good spending time with the children, seeing their excitement, and having those honest, motivating conversations about their future. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do to help them believe in themselves and take their education seriously.
I’m really thankful to our President, Mohamed Kamara, and our brother Samuel Morovia, for joining me on this journey. Having them by my side made the day easier and more meaningful. As the CEO of Empire Family Kongbora, I’m truly proud of the positive energy and impact we’re creating together in the lives of our young people.
Education is the light that will guide the next generation, and we’ll keep doing our best to make sure that light shines brighter in every school we reach.

A few executive members and I paid a brief courtesy visit to all the schools within the township of Bauya to encourage pupils to take their education seriously. As Empire Family Kongbora, we are truly proud of the positive impact we’ve made in promoting education and personal growth among young learners.
We remain optimistic and fully prepared for the upcoming Spelling Bee and Debate Competition scheduled for November 8, 2025.
We continue to appeal to kind hearted individuals and organizations to support us in meeting our program budget of NLe 20,180, so we can make this event a meaningful and successful one for the children of our community.

The Empire Family Kongbora Freetown Chapter successfully held their second edition of Empire Family Kongbora Connect. I was honored to be invited in my capacity as the CEO and alongside the President of Empire Family Kongbora.

The main purpose of this Connect was to strengthen bonds among members and to deliberate on the growth and progress of the Empire Family Kongbora.

As CEO, I emphasized that Empire Family Kongbora is founded on love and it is our collective responsibility to work together for the betterment of the Family, so that it becomes a space where everyone feels valued and proud to belong.

The President, on his part, highlighted the importance of unity, stressing that it must remain the key principle guiding us, as unity is the foundation for meaningful development within the Family.

Members unanimously agreed that the essence of the Connect was not only to familiarize ourselves with one another but also to ensure that relationships are built continuously not just when we converge in Bauya.
