📱 SCROLL SMART 🇪🇺
😴 You open your eyes in the morning, and before you even get out of bed, you're already scrolling. 📲 News, videos, memes, comments, advertisements. Information is coming at us from every direction 🌍, and sometimes it becomes harder and harder to tell what is a fact ✅, what is an opinion 💭, and what is carefully crafted manipulation 🎭. 🤔
If you're interested in understanding how social media works 📱, why algorithms show us certain content 🔍, and how to navigate a world full of misinformation 🚨, we have an opportunity for you. We are looking for 4 young people aged 18–30 and 1 group leader (18+) from Portugal 🇵🇹 to join the Erasmus+ youth exchange Scroll Smart, taking place from 29 June to 6 July 2026 in Suchá nad Parnou, near Trnava, Slovakia. 🌿
During the week, together with young people from different countries 🇪🇺, we will dive into the world of media 📰, social networks 📲, and digital technologies 💻. We will explore how fake news is created 🚫📰, what artificial intelligence can do 🤖, how to protect your privacy online 🔐, and why critical thinking 🧠 is one of the most important skills of our time. The programme will include discussions 🗣️, simulations 🎲, creative workshops 🎨, and plenty of space to share experiences and ideas 🤝.
Alongside new knowledge 📚, you can expect international friendships 🌍, inspiring people ✨, and experiences that go beyond the screen of your phone 📵. You will discover how to become an active citizen 🗳️ in the digital world and how not to be influenced by every piece of information that appears in your feed.
