Emília za Yamagata a Zuzana za exe Asociáciu odreprezentovali lingvistom na FF UK Bratislava. Vysvetlili, z akých oddelení sa skladá veľká prekladateľská spoločnosť a aké činnosti sa na jednotlivých oddeleniach vykonávajú, s cieľom dodať klientom lokalizačné služby vo vysokej kvalite. Nezastúpiteľnú úlohu majú v týchto procesoch projektoví manažéri a vendor manažéri.

ELIS 2026 is out and charts the development of the European language services industry in a frank and honest way:

👉 The traditional T&I market is in decline as AI rewrites the narrative.

👉 The role of language professionals and language companies is gradually shifting from pure production to a broader spectrum of language-related services. The industry is actively responding to these changes, but ELIS 2026 also charts widespread concerns.

👉 Many are integrating AI and language technologies into their workflows, developing complementary services, or repositioning themselves towards specialised sectors, higher-value communication tasks, or consultancy roles. However, as with any structural shift in a mature industry, the transition is uneven and progressing at different speeds across the market.

👉 Market challenges and rapid development of the industry impact all, from independent professionals to LSPs, from students to academic institutions, and from institutional buyers to language departments.

30.1. sa Asociácia v zastúpení prezidentky, konateľky ASAP-translation.com, preklady a tlmočenie K. Absolonovej zúčastnila panelovej diskusie na Zimnej škole prekladu v Banskej Bystrici. Asociácia túto konferenciu mladých prekladateľov a tlmočníkov podporila aj finančne, nakoľko pokladá túto komunitnú aktivitu za mimoriadne prospešnú pre rozvoj mladej generácie lingvistov. Diskusie sa zúčasnil aj B. Chrenko za firmu Glocco a K. Gabčová za firmu Tetras. V diskusii boli preberané postoje lokalizačných firiem k súčasnej situácii výrazne ovplyvnenej AI a zároveň globálnou ekonomickou krízou.
