GIRLS DAY AT GYMBEAM 🤖❤️

Last week we once again teamed up with Aj Ty v IT to inspire the next generation of young women in tech. While this was our third year participating in the program, we added a brand new twist by taking 14 talented students straight into the heart of our automated warehouse. 🚀

The day was packed with valuable experiences, starting with a company tour where we showcased our autostore system and highlighted the key collaboration between logistics and IT. They had a chance to see exactly how IT skills are applied to the operations of Europe's largest fitness e-commerce company. Because there is no better way to understand something than to do it yourself, we gave them the opportunity to try picking orders firsthand. 🖥️📦

After the tour, we held an open discussion where our colleagues shared their personal journeys into IT, from picking high school subjects to university choices and career changes. We talked about how we use IT skills across different departments and the challenges we have faced along the way. Whether we studied tech from the start or switched gears later, we wanted to show that there is no single right path into the industry.

We believe this shared time truly helped shift their perception of technology and boosted their motivation to pursue further education in the world of IT. Proud to support these future experts and can't wait to see where their curiosity takes them next! ⚡

OUR DIGITAL NEWCOMERS JUST FIRED THE ROUTINE ✂️

For the past few months, we’ve been working on a way to let autonomous agents handle the day-to-day tasks. The long-term plan is to have them run most of our backend operations. 🏗️

Right now, we’ve got about 20 machines running 24/7 on a local server. It’s been a grind, but the agents are already taking care of the basics: generating content, handling POs, updating reports, and keeping an eye on security. We’re moving into logistics and customer care next.🚀
And yes... Bob was supposed to improve performance, so feel free to tag any “Bob” in your team who’s “improving” things at a similar pace.
PS: No worries, we are still a team of humans! 🖐️

Q1 RESULTS ARE IN! 🚀

At our latest All Hands, we reflected on our progress and aligned on what’s next. The focus remains on scaling, improving how we operate, and embedding technology deeper into everything we do.

Here’s a snapshot of what Q1 looked like:

🏆 Became the largest international sports nutrition company in the EU by revenue.
🚀 Fastest growth in Italy 93% YoY and Germany 67% YoY.
🏢 Opened a new office and Fitness Hub in Vienna.
🤖 Launched a robotic warehouse near Milan.
📦 Over 50% of orders processed autonomously.
🌍 Entered the Dutch market.
📈 Grew revenue and improved profitability with a leaner team.
💻 Deployed 12 AI agents across key business functions.

AI is no longer a side topic. It’s becoming part of everyday work, and we’re giving our people the tools and knowledge to fully use its potential. That’s why we've also made the Open Claw course available to our teams, helping them gain a deeper understanding of AI and how to apply it in practice. 📈

5 FLIGHTS IN 5 DAYS ✈️

The past few days were intense, covering over 4,200 km, with the trip focused on strategic planning, technological insights, and reinforcing business partnerships across Europe.

🇳🇴 Norway:
The trip to Oslo was primarily focused on meeting with and visiting 💊 Vitalis Pharma. During our time there, we had in-depth discussions, toured their facilities, and gained a comprehensive understanding of how a successful company specializing in softgel manufacturing operates. The visit offered a wealth of insights and inspiration, showing how advanced technology, efficient workflows, and strong organizational practices come together to achieve high productivity and quality standards.

🇩🇪 Germany:
We then spent three days in Düsseldorf, dedicated to production optimization, implementing new manufacturing lines, and restructuring facilities to increase capacity. And, of course, reinforcing key relationships along the way. 🤝

These trips demand energy, but they deliver exactly what matters: fresh perspectives, concrete solutions, and stronger partnerships. We’ve returned home with a wealth of new experiences, which we’re already translating into immediate actions to drive further growth. 🚀

MORE THAN A WORKOUT. A ROOM FULL OF POWERFUL WOMEN 💖

At GymBeam we believe that building a strong and supportive community is just as important as building strength in the gym. This past weekend we brought this belief to life with our Workout & Brunch event in celebration of International Women’s Day. 💪🥐

We wanted to honor, inspire and connect women, giving them a space to move, challenge themselves and share experiences. 60 amazing women joined us for either 🏋️‍♀️ Workout & Brunch with Kamila Pavlíčková and Lucka Minářová or 🏃‍♀️ Run & Brunch with Viky Chovancová along the Vltava.

Our GymBeam ambassadors shared guidance, motivation and personal stories. After the workouts everyone joined Q&A sessions and professional advice on fitness, nutrition and wellness. Each woman left feeling inspired and carrying a gift bag as a symbol that GymBeam is by their side throughout their fitness journey. 🎁🙌

This three hour event reminded us why we invest in our people and our community. At GymBeam wellness is more than workouts, it is about connection, empowerment and celebrating each other. 💖

FROM INTERN TO MANAGER IN 12 MONTHS 🚀

On January 2, 2025 Adam Monček joined GymBeam as an intern. Today, he is leading one of our newest spin-offs Boxpi. This is what growth looks like. 👏

Right at the beginning of his journey, he impressed us with his ownership approach, analytical mind, and talent for transforming chaos into order. He didn’t just get things done; he sought ways to improve them.

After just five months, he started as a B2B Account and contributed to the development of our B2B team from scratch. He demonstrated his skills in customer communication, data-driven decision-making, growth and profitability.

Two months later, Adam took on the challenge of Head of B2B Acquisition PL, where he managed client acquisition in the Polish FMCG market, set goals, negotiated contracts, and explored opportunities and scalable sales processes.
Exactly one year after joining GymBeam, Adam stepped into the role of Manager of Boxpi. Today, he focuses on operational performance, automation and customer satisfaction. He is balancing business success and people leadership.

What got Adam to a managerial role?

WE HAVE A NEW DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONAL PURCHASING! 📊

Martin Mattoš previously led our Data Analytics Team, where he established a strong data-driven foundation across the organization. Under his leadership, the team enhanced analytical standards, strengthened reporting frameworks, and delivered actionable insights that supported decision-making at all levels of the business. 🧠

Thanks to his hard work, deep expertise in data, and talent for process optimization, Martin has been promoted to Director of Operational Purchasing!👏

What will Martin focus on in his new role?

WORK HARD, TRAIN HARDER 🏋️‍♂️

At our offices in Košice, we have our own GymBeam fitness center available to our employees. Twice a week, it turns into a place where we truly push our limits.

Our famous Bootcamp sessions combine strength building and conditioning. It’s a tough workout, but exactly the kind you appreciate after a busy day at work. A chance to clear your mind, move your body, and leave feeling stronger than when you arrived. 💪

The training is suitable for both beginners and advanced participants. Each session is tailored to the individual needs and fitness levels of those attending, so everyone can challenge themselves at their own pace.

And one of the biggest benefits? No commuting across the city. Just finish work, change your clothes, and start training. 👕➡️🏋️

We’ve been working with our amazing trainer, Daniela Mattová🔥, for many years. She leads every session with energy and professionalism, creating a motivating atmosphere that keeps our colleagues coming back.

WHEN LOGISTICS MEETS TECHNOLOGY 🤖📦

After stepping inside our manufacture, it’s time for the next chapter of Internal Rotation which takes place at AutoStore.

Our colleagues move to a fully automated warehouse, where during a 4-hour rotation they experience the complete flow of goods from inbound, through storage, all the way to order export. And it’s not just about observation.

💡 Colleagues have the opportunity to experience the full warehouse journey from inbound receiving, through storage and Autostore, to packing and order dispatch.

💡 They work with real tools, internal applications, and a robotic system. The FIFO principle is explained, and they see how everything connects in practice.

💡 They gain a clearer understanding of how each logistics step impacts the final customer experience.

AutoStore offers a different view of logistics. Technology and people work together to deliver orders quickly and with high accuracy.

💬 What do our colleagues say about the rotation?

It was impressive to see how automation makes everyday work simpler and more efficient. Modern technology clearly changes the way warehouse stock is managed. The system looks simple at first, but it is actually very precise and reliable. I also liked how AutoStore uses vertical space, which saves room and speeds up picking and storing goods.
