🌲🌳 Today, the Visegrad Fund team joined "Naše mesto 2026", the largest volunteer event in Slovakia & Central Europe organized by Nadácia Pontis.

We spent the day volunteering in the beautiful forests managed by , helping to clean up the woodland at the Kamzík recreation area.🌿🌱

It was a rewarding opportunity to help improve the local environment, support a beloved public space, and spend time together outside the office. 🍃💚

Yesterday, our project manager Barbora Ščepánková monitored the second mobility within the V4 Gen project “EcoBridges: Linking Forests and Seas” 🌱🌊.

The project connects high school students from Malacky 🇸🇰 and Puck 🇵🇱, encouraging them to explore environmental challenges and sustainability together through cross-border exchanges 🤝.

During the mobility in Slovakia, students discovered the natural beauty of the Záhorie region, took part in environmental and creative activities, and presented local fauna and flora in English 🌿🎨.

As Barbora shared, it was inspiring to see the students’ enthusiasm, confidence, and engagement throughout the programme ✨.
