The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce is a meeting place for people looking to conduct successful business in the Slovak Republic or the Netherlands.

The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic is a non-profit civil association established in 1997. We welcome individual entrepreneurs and companies of any nationality to become members and seek for business opportunities within the chamber. We promote successful business environment within and outside the chamber through our and our members' activities. We organize business meetings to bring all members and their businesses together.

On 4th May, foreign chambers of commerce co-organized already a second successful Speed Business Meeting in the premises of the hotel Crown Plaza.

It was a pleasure to welcome our members HAUERLAND and Best Hotel Properties, a.s. at this dynamic networking event, filled with valuable conversations and new connections. Looking forward to see the outcome of initiated collaborations!

On April 27th, the Dutch wearing orange color celebrate the birthday of His Majesty King Willem-Alexander during their national holiday, Koningsdag. At this very special occasion Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia hosted the King's Day - Orange Party welcoming a broader Dutch-Slovak business community and their friends in an impressive setting of the Bratislava waterfront. The opening speech was delivered by our President, Richard Kellner, followed by H.E. Mr. Jules Gerzon, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Slovakia. Thank you for the sponsorships to our proud members ING (ING Hubs Slovensko & ING Bank) and NN, also as in kind contributions to Heineken, Cloetta and SULíNKA - with special thanks to Mr. Štefan Rybovič. This event proved to be a success with a festive atmosphere lasting long until midnight! Special thanks to our board member, Nick Barends for preparing a Dutch schlager playlist making it an even more authentic experience!

Yesterday, overlooking the charming scenery of Bratislava city center from a bid's perspective we have organized the spring edition of our bi-annual Patron's Dinner. Representatives of our Patron Members, Jan Rakovsky from CTP, Lukas Motovsky from ING, Veronica Mircea from Philips, Tessa van Staten from Union poisťovňa Union zdravotná poisťovňa and Mirka Michalkova from Xenex Construction Company could appreciate the discussions with our special guest Peter Stano, Head of the Representation of the European Commission in the Slovak Republic, H.E. Jules Gerzon, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Slovak Republic also as our President Richard Kellner and Vice-President Rebeka van der Heiden. Thank you all for your open minds and inspiration!

For the the third year, ARVAL Slovakia, Heineken, ING and Union poisťovňa Union zdravotná poisťovňa will open their doors to young talented students through a unique traineeship program, Talent Garden. While 5 alumni successfully completed the full program in January we are proud to welcome 10 new students among us starting as of April. We are wishing them all the best on their career journey! Thank you to H.E. Mr. Jules Gerzon and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Slovakia for hosting the Kick-off Event and Certifying Ceremony and our Vice-President, Rebeka van der Heiden for her inspiring speech! Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia is looking forward to building further the Talent Garden community.

Dear students,

Take advantage of the unique opportunity! Apply for the 3rd year of the TALENT GARDEN: TRAINEESHIPS THAT HELP YOU GROW program.

The program is a result of a close cooperation between Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia in cooperation with Dutch companies ARVAL Slovakia, Heineken, ING and Union poisťovňa Union zdravotná poisťovňa and under the auspices of Embassy of the Netherlands in Slovakia.

This is a paid traineeship program aimed at second, third or fourth year full-time university students with knowledge of Slovak and English, who would welcome the opportunity to earn extra money while studying and work on attractive projects in the areas of people & marketing, data & analytics & innovation, IT & technology.

The specifics of the program is the accumulation of work experience during rotation in 2 companies for 10 months.

Registration is open from February 1 to 19, 2026 via the registration form, currently published on our website: https://www.netherlandschamber.sk/talent-garden.

In addition to the completed form, a CV and a creative self-presentation must be sent to [email protected] during the same period.

Interviews of candidates with HR specialists from participating companies will take place in early March. The traineeships will be available from April 1, 2026 and will last until January 31, 2027.

Dear members and friends,

On 26 January 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Dutch-Slovak community to two consecutive events — our Annual General Meeting followed by a more informal New Year’s Drink.

Hosted in the cozy premises of Kulturama in Bratislava, the evening brought together up to 40 members and friends for meaningful discussions, networking, and a great start to the year.

During the AGM, we were pleased to announce changes within our board. Rebeka van der Heiden accepted the challenge to take over the role of Vice-President from Arnout Bloys van Treslong, and Tessa van Staten joined the board, taking over from Michal Spanar. While we are sorry to see Najat Bakkal leave the board, we would like to sincerely thank her for her valuable contribution.

A warm welcome to our new members, and thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a friendly and inspiring atmosphere. Cheers to new connections, continued collaboration, and we look forward to our cooperation in 2026! 🥂

We are thrilled to announce the outstanding success of our 20th Annual Charity Gala Dinner on November 8, 2025!

The evening was a significant milestone, hosting up to 100 distinguished guests, including H.E. Mr. Jules Gerzon, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Slovak Republic.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, and the energetic bidding in our auction and raffle, a substantial amount of money was raised. This funding will directly support the life-changing Omama Maringotka project by Cesta von.
