The analysis “Child abuse in the online space in the V4,” conducted together with our colleagues, revealed fundamental problems across the Visegrad region.

These range from caregivers not knowing what their children are doing online, to high rates of online abuse, to low trust in usual helpers, particularly in Slovakia.

📄 A new analysis “Child abuse in the online space in the V4” examined online abuse faced by young people in the Visegrád Four countries.

We present data from the latest analysis, aimed at answering four key questions: how digitally well young people in the region are, how prevalent online abuse is, how young people feel about seeking help, and how these patterns differ across countries.

The central finding was that online child sexual exploitation and abuse is not a marginal problem in Central Europe; it is a common experience for young people growing up in the Visegrád Four.

RESILIENCE AGAINST DISINFORMATION STARTS WITH CRITICAL THINKING. Do you agree?

Today’s information space can be confusing — and it’s only getting harder to tell what’s true, what’s misleading, and what’s intentionally manipulative. That’s why we need more room for education, open dialogue, and verified information, especially where polarization and distrust are growing.

And at , we’ve got exciting news: we’re taking on fake news… through escape rooms. Curious how you can train critical thinking by playing a game?
