Kongregáciu "Saleziáni" založil taliansky kňaz Ján Bosco (1815 - 1888) a Cirkev saleziánov definitívne potvrdila ako rehoľnú spoločnosť v roku 1874, keď boli schválené Stanovy.
ENGISH:
The Salesian Congregation was founded by Italian priest John Bosco (1815 - 1888) and the Holy Church accepted Salesians as a religious institute in 1874, when their rules were approved. In Slovakia, Salesians work since 1924. When the word "Miletička" is told, to most of the people of Bratislava the idea of market and shopping comes to the mind. Also the idea of one of the most frequent streets in the city, which at the same time is a very important transfer node. But for the parishioners of the old city part of Ružinov it is at first an idea of salesian house, Mary Help of Christians Church, oratorio and the youth centre. Work of Salesians at Miletička, which is managed by community of Salesian priests is complex and varied. Except the routine parish pastoral care, managing the running of the Salesian house, working of the youth centre, is a lot of people meeting the community at Miletička and working together with them on the salvation of the youth.
