Every asylum seeker, every refugee, every child who ever arrived at a border with nothing but their life in their hands — was once someone who had a home. A family. A culture. A favourite street corner. They were not “migrants.” They were people.🫴🏻

And that is where my work begins, and where my conviction lives.

🗣️In June 2026, the EU’s new Pact on Migration and Asylum enters into force. The global numbers are clear: over 51 million people need international protection. 42.5 million refugees, nearly triple the number from 2012. In Slovakia alone, 342,000 legally resident migrants. These are not statistics. They are lives.I personally believe that passivity is not wisdom. Isolation is not safety. We must enter into encounters with other cultures, into dialogue, into the discomfort that real understanding requires. Not to impose, but to offer. Not to tolerate out of politeness, but to open up from a place of genuine strength.

It is possible to connect lives across cultures, nationalities, and the whole world, without coercion, without forced assimilation, through spontaneous openness and through trust that can only be built through communication.

Sooner or later, we will sit down together at a round table. And that table will be our bond. A space where no one loses.🤲🏻

Over the last 5 years, the number of foreign workers here grew by 112%. They contribute €217M more in taxes than the state spends on their support. And we are about to lose 23% of our under-40 workforce in the next decade💶

The invisible barriers are real. The legal gaps are real. But so is the solution.

Climate change is no longer just an environmental issue. It’s becoming a human story. 🌍

By 2050, over 1 billion people could be forced to leave their homes due to climate impacts rising seas, droughts, extreme weather.
And yet… in today’s international system, they don’t formally exist.

There is still no legal definition of a “climate refugee.”

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees operates within frameworks built on the Geneva Convention — a time when climate change was not understood as a driver of displacement.

This creates a gap.
A legal vacuum.
A space where millions , soon billions fall outside protection.

At LiVia Integra, we believe:
Human dignity cannot depend on outdated definitions.

We need:
• recognition of climate displacement in international law
• real, functional integration pathways across Europe
• protection mechanisms that reflect today’s reality , not yesterday’s assumptions

🇧🇩🇨🇴🇪🇬🇮🇳🇽🇰🇲🇦🇹🇳 Bangladesh, Colombia, Egypt, India, Kosovo, Morocco & Tunisia.
Citizens of these countries will face accelerated asylum processing — presumed not to need protection. They must prove otherwise.
⚖️ But your individual rights still apply. Non-refoulement. Right to appeal. Right to legal counsel.
