Creative, self-initiative, open-minded and flexible young people (18-30 years old) from EU countries🙋‍♀️🙋
Experience with kids, youth and community work, promotion or event organisation are a plus but not a necessity.

We are looking for 𝟰 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 for following organisations:
- 𝘋𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘦
- 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘴
- 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭

𝗜𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 you will:
▪️help mentors with everyday tasks,
▪️prepare and lead workshops and activities for different groups,
▪️help with creating monthly programme,
▪️support organisations' users in their free time
𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 for Youth Institute:
🔸help with small hands-on repairs and technical assistance at events
🔸organisation and production of events
🔸creating visual content and promotion

𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚: 𝙀𝙎𝘾 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮

One of the core elements of our ESC projects is creating opportunities for informal connection between volunteers and the local public.

During our recent ESC evening, we wanted to conclude the informational program with an engaging, interactive activity. I took the initiative to organize and facilitate a session of the social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower for the attendees.

From an organizational perspective, this session involved:

-> 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨: Merging a complex game format into a public community event.

-> 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: Managing a large circle of participants and ensuring clear communication in a multilingual setting.

-> 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩: Creating a shared space where locals and international volunteers interact directly through structured play (as seen in the video).

The best part of this initiative was that it didn't end with that one evening. Thanks to the positive feedback and strong interest from the participants, we successfully organized a repeat session. We managed to gather again in our free time to continue playing (as illustrated on the final slide).

Thank you to everyone who joined the circle, took on a role, and contributed to the dynamic atmosphere.🥰

You always dreamed of an evening that could allow local young people and European volunteers to meet ?… we did it ! 😎

Last week in MKC Pri Rdeči Ostrigi, Familija organized an event mixing French, Czech culture and many more to encourage young people to try volunteering abroad.

On the menu for the evening : pub quiz about European Solidarity Corps, a buffet offering French and Czech dishes (“chouquettes” were a very huge success 😋), and a round of the roleplay game “Blood on the clock tower”.

It was a pleasure to spend this evening with that many lovely and enthusiastic people. We cannot wait for the next one 💓

Letos je Božiček v naši Familiji že začel nositi (metati, če smo natančni) darila pridnim otrokom (natančno dolgoletnim pridnim sodelavcem). 🎁 S poslanico Travel light je darilo lahkotno poletelo po zraku in priletelo na obnovljen Mestni trg. Obdarovanec je preživel, za kar v dokaz prilagamo foto gradivo. 😀
