For all youth out there across the EuroMed, we are pleased to announce that the third cycle of The Mediterranean Youth in Action (MYA) Programme is back.

As usual, MYA offers three distinct tracks for youth across the Euro-Mediterranean region:
• Shaping Transformative Narratives: for content creators and storytellers
• Transformative Youth: for community leaders working on local initiatives
• Voicing Youth Knowledge: for researchers contributing to policy-oriented work

Each track is designed to support you through a full journey, not a one-time opportunity. Participants engage in capacity-building, peer collaboration, and mentorship, while developing and implementing their own ideas and projects into action.

Participants don’t just join, they engage, contribute, and actively contribute to dialogues, events, and knowledge spaces at both local and regional levels across the EuroMediterranean.

Prejšnji teden je v Nikoziji, na Cipru 🇨🇾 potekala dvodnevna Evro-sredozemska konferenca civilne družbe, ki je povezala organizacije in strokovnjake iz Evrope in Sredozemlja z namenom krepitve dialoga in sodelovanja.

Konference se je udeležil Robert Križanič, direktor Zavoda Povod, ki je član SLOGA, platforma NVO za razvoj, globalno učenje in humanitarno pomoč, ter nacionalni koordinator mreže Anna Lindh Foundation v Sloveniji. 🇸🇮

Open call for participation: "Centring People, Creating Knowledge" - Training on Participatory Action Research by Reka Si - Featured by the Anna Lindh Foundation.

You can now apply to our training course "Centring People, Creating Knowledge", as part of the ALF Hands-On programme, featured by the Anna Lindh Foundation.
The course is designed and facilitated by Samar Zughool, an intercultural trainer and researcher.

🗓 Dates: 11 - 13 May 2026 (9:30 - 11:30 CET)
🗣 Language: English

The participatory training introduces concepts and strategies of participatory action research (PAR) as a methodology to upscale, document, and disseminate the valuable work of civil society organizations that engage directly with communities.

Responding to the Mediterranean Pact’s first pillar, People: driving force for change, connections and innovation, the course offers approaches for collaboration between academic researchers (including PhD scholars and policy writers), CSO staff, and people with lived experience as peer researchers and knowledge producers.

Through practical, accessible modules, the training helps CSO staff:

• View their work through a research lens
• Assess the evidential value of their activities
• Translate findings into policy recommendations and public narratives
• Build a sustainable, strategic bridge for knowledge transfer that centres people’s lives

Training Sessions:

• 11.5.2026: Building the Community of Action Research
• 12.5.2026: Generating Themes and Articulation of Research Goals and Questions
• 13.5.2026: Choosing Methodologies and Validating Outcomes

The training will be held online, open to participants across the Euro-Mediterranean region.

V petek, 16. januarja 2026, je v Ljubljani potekalo redno letno srečanje članic mreže Fundacije Anne Lindh v Sloveniji.

Na srečanju so bile predstavljene aktualne dejavnosti in priložnosti za organizacije članice Anna Lindh Foundation ter letni program dela Fundacije na globalni ravni. Predstavljeno je bilo tudi dogajanje v okviru četrtega velikega ALF Foruma, ki je junija 2025 potekal v Tirani, ter prihajajoči dogodki, med njimi ALF Agora 2026, ki bo v Limassolu na Cipru 27. in 28. aprila 2026.

Prisotne organizacije so predstavile svoje aktualne dejavnosti, ki so povezane z vsebino in misijo ALF. Prednostne teme slovenske mreže so še vedno mladi in trajnost, vendar pa to ni edino, saj slovenske organizacije članice delajo na širokem spektru dejavnosti povezanih s Sredozemljem in medkulturnim dialogom.

V okviru srečanja je bila potrjena koordinacija mreže ALF v Sloveniji. Naslednjih pet let bo slovensko mrežo ALF še naprej vodil in koordiniral Zavod Povod.

Vse članice so pozvane, naj redno spremljajo novice in spletne vsebine slovenske mreže glede aktualnih razpisov in priložnosti, ki jih za članice pripravlja ALF.

Srečanje se je zaključilo ob skupnem kosilu, ki je omogočilo nadaljnje neformalno mreženje in izmenjavo izkušenj.
