The DiMark project in action
🌿 DiMark research presented in Constance
Professor David Schleheck presented research carried out within the DiMark project at the 30th-anniversary celebration of the Friends of the Lake Constance Nature Museum in Constance. The event was a valuable opportunity to share DiMark’s work on lake monitoring, water quality and the protection of freshwater ecosystems with a wider audience.

🌊 DiMark field campaign on Lake Garda
On 27 April 2026, DiMark partners ARPAV, CNR-IREA and the Edmund Mach Foundation carried out a joint field monitoring campaign on Lake Garda.
The team collected data on chlorophyll, suspended solids, physico-chemical parameters and the optical properties of lake waters. The campaign was coordinated with the launch of the Sentinel-3, Sentinel-2, and EnMAP satellites, enabling comparisons between satellite data and in-situ measurements. The campaign also involved key stakeholders, including the Guardia di Finanza and the State Police, who participated with their nautical units.

🌊 DiMark Workshop on Innovation and Monitoring of Lake Garda
How can satellite observation and field measurements help us better monitor and protect freshwater ecosystems? Within the Interreg Alpine Space DiMark project, ARPAV, in collaboration with CNR-IREA and Fondazione Edmund Mach, organised a workshop on innovative approaches to monitoring Lake Garda.

The workshop focused on integrating field monitoring, satellite data, and environmental indicators to support better water management and strengthen climate change adaptation strategies in the Alpine region.

🌊 Invitation to Bled Water Forum 2026
On 3 June 2026, an expert event on various lake-monitoring methods to support the sustainable management of lake ecosystems will take place at Vila Bled, Slovenia, as part of the Bled Water Forum 2026.
The event will bring together experts in water management, ecology, environmental monitoring, fisheries, nature conservation and research to exchange knowledge and practical experience on sustainable lake ecosystem management.
In the evening, the wider public is invited to the presentation of a draft action plan for nature-based solutions to protect Lake Bled, developed through stakeholder workshops focusing on green infrastructure, wetlands, aquatic vegetation, shoreline protection and multifunctional green areas.

VERDEinMED Project partners met in Perugia to strengthen the sustainable transition of the textile and clothing sector
On 12–13 May, VERDEinMED Project partners, including E-zavod, and associated partners gathered in Perugia, Italy, for the project’s 7th Steering Committee Meeting, and a conference on sustainable transition strategies in the textile and clothing sector, hosted by Confindustria UMBRIA and Legambiente Umbria.
The meeting focused on project progress across key activities, including VERDE Hubs, the Knowledge Platform, communication and dissemination, VERDE Academy, policy recommendations and the Transferability Plan.
Partners also discussed coordination with governance projects and opportunities to strengthen cooperation and knowledge exchange across the Mediterranean region.
The second day brought together institutional representatives, industry stakeholders and environmental experts to discuss circularity, territorial cooperation and environmental innovation in the textile and clothing sector.
The event concluded with the presentation of VERDEinMED’s key achievements and impact.

Participating on the Final Conference of the project Interreg Euro-MED Programme, from 27–28 May 2026 in Poreč, Istria, Croatia.

The event gathered project partners, stakeholders, representatives of public institutions, local authorities, and development agencies.

The first day of the event will be dedicated to the official programme of the Interreg Euro-MED REVIVE Project Final Conference. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the methodology developed within the project, innovative business models, and digital solutions designed for the REVIVE pilot areas.

The programme will also include a panel discussion focused on the challenges of implementing digital solutions and innovative business models in Mediterranean inland areas, as well as discussion on the transferability of developed solutions and the role of local governments in supporting these processes.
Following the conference, project partners will have an internal meeting dedicated to final project activities and coordination. The day will conclude with a guided cultural tour and tasting of traditional Istrian products.

On the second day, project partners will participate in a Study visit across the REVIVE pilot area in Istria, gaining insight into successful local initiatives, heritage sites, and agricultural producers.
The event will provide an opportunity for knowledge exchange, networking, and discussion on sustainable development approaches for Mediterranean inland areas.

Z velikim veseljem delimo novico, da je projekt CEFoodCycle prejel nominacijo za prestižno evropsko priznanje Europa-Staatspreis 2026 za svoj prispevek k bolj trajnostni, krožni in povezani Evropi.

Projekt CEFoodCycle je v okviru programa Interreg Alpine Space iskal konkretne rešitve za zmanjševanje odpadne hrane ter boljše povezovanje prehranskih tokov v alpskem prostoru. Skozi pet krožnih prehranskih vozlišč v Avstriji, Sloveniji, Italiji, Franciji in Nemčiji je projekt povezal različne deležnike, razvijal pilotne rešitve ter prispeval k nastanku digitalnega orodja FoodCycle.ai.

To priznanje potrjuje, da lahko čezmejno sodelovanje, inovacije in krožno gospodarstvo ustvarjajo konkretne učinke za okolje, gospodarstvo in lokalne skupnosti.

Ponosni smo, da je bil del te evropske zgodbe tudi E-zavod iz Ptuja. 💚

Projekt VERDEinMED Project predstavljen v reviji ESG / omrežje Slovenije

V aprilski številki revije ESG 208, ki jo izdaja Slovenija, je objavljen prispevek »Projekt VERDEinMED – trajnostnemu in krožnemu tekstilu naproti«.
Prispevek predstavlja ključne dosežke projekta VERDEinMED Project, ki spodbuja prehod tekstilnega sektorja k bolj trajnostnim in krožnim praksam, preko izobraževalne Platforme Znanja, Komunikacijske kampanje in Storitve tehnične pomoči za tekstilna podjetja.
Poseben poudarek je namenjen aktivnostim v Sloveniji, kjer projekt izvaja -zavod, kot slovenski partner projekta. V sodelovanju s podjetjem je zaživela slovenska podstran Platforme znanja VERDEinMED, ki deležnikom, strokovni in širši javnosti, omogoča dostop do orodij, dobrih praks in vsebin za podporo krožnemu prehodu v tekstilni vrednostni verigi.
V Sloveniji so bili v okviru komunikacijske kampanje pripravljeni tudi izobraževalni filmi o trajnosti tekstila, pristopih iz druge roke in dobrih praksah izmenjevalnic oblačil, vključno s pobudo : Misli EKO – Izmenjaj si obleko.
Pomemben del slovenskih aktivnosti je tudi izvedba storitev tehnične pomoči za tekstilna podjetja, pri kateri so sodelovali lokalni mentorji in izbrani prejemniki storitev iz Slovenije.
Med slovenskimi mentorji izpostavljamo: Logar Bauchmüller s.p. (.Vert), Evolution, Hrovat Mavsar s.p., d.o.o., Peršuh, Logar s.p. () in Mojca Žganec Metelko, so.p., d.o.o..
Med prejemniki storitev v Sloveniji so sodelovali: Gobec s.p. ( studio), Marolt, d.o.o., JAZON, d.o.o., so.p. in ponovne uporabe d.o.o., so.p..
Slovenski mentor TITERA d.o.o. je sodeloval tudi s prejemnikom specifične storitve iz Grčije.
V okviru projekta v Sloveniji trenutno potekajo participativne delavnice za pripravo Osnutka Strategije za prehod v krožno gospodarstvo na področju tekstila v Sloveniji.
Projekt VERDEinMED je sofinanciran s strani Evropske unije v okviru programa Interreg Euro-MED 2021–2027.

🌍S projektom DiMark razvijamo nove rešitve za boljše spremljanje ekološkega stanja jezer in zadrževalnikov v alpski regiji.
Projekt povezuje digitalno satelitsko opazovanje in ekološke podatke o vodah, s ciljem boljšega razumevanja vplivov podnebnih sprememb, ter pravočasnega prepoznavanja okoljskih tveganj.
V okviru projekta:
🔹razvijamo spletno orodje za pregledovanje in primerjavo stanja voda v alpskem prostoru,
🔹 vzpostavljamo sistem zgodnjega odkrivanja in opozarjanja na prisotnost toksigenih cianobakterij,
🔹 krepimo mednarodno sodelovanje in izmenjavo znanja za lažji prenos novih rešitev v prakso.
Z izvedbo projekta želimo prispevati k:
✔ boljšemu upravljanju jezer in zadrževalnikov,
✔ večji pripravljenosti na izzive podnebnih sprememb,
✔ zmanjšanju tveganj za vodne ekosisteme in zdravje ljudi.

🏞️ Protecting Lake Bled together
DiMark presented at stakeholder workshops for Lake Bled
DiMark contributes to stakeholder dialogue on the future of Lake Bled
In March 2025, a series of five stakeholder workshops dedicated to protecting Lake Bled, one of Slovenia’s most iconic and ecologically important lakes, was completed. The workshops were organised in collaboration with the ProCleanLakes project and brought together 66 participants.
The events gathered a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from municipalities, agriculture, fisheries, spatial planning, and public utility services, creating a strong platform for knowledge exchange and dialogue.
The discussions yielded insights that will inform the development of future measures for the sustainable management and protection of Lake Bled. During the workshops, researchers from the National Institute of Biology also presented the project, highlighting Lake Bled as one of its key study sites.
The workshops are part of a broader collaboration between the project and the , where the results of both projects will complement each other and contribute to more effective, science-based lake management strategies.
Through a series of stakeholder workshops, contributed to discussions on the future of Lake Bled.
