Hello beautiful people 🌞🧚🏻✨
This week we came to meet the wonderful Jošt, Vesna, Alis, Bernarda and their four-legged friend Indi at Villa Kozei. We have spent the week contributing to the growth of this beautiful place: we pulled weeds from the gardens, made garden beds, helped to level the surface for a future terrace and welcomed the new neighbor Andrea, also helping to rejuvenate her land.

It has been an extremely rewarding week, we will have more news soon! Stay tuned :)

Hello beautiful people 🌞🧚🏻✨
Today we're here to show you a little bit of what life on the farm has been like, and also the sounds we find here.
It's been 10 days since our journey began, and it's been an incredible experience. We've put all our love into the meals we cook and dedication into daily activities like tending to our green spaces (weeding, mulching, transplanting) and chopping firewood for next winter.
We ended this week with a moment of reflection and sharing, preparing ourselves for the challenges that next week will bring :) Stay tuned!

(RECIPE ON THE LAST SLIDE)

Hello, beautiful people 🌞🧚🏻✨
This week we’ve been tending to our garden and pulling some weeds, making room for new plants to bloom. So today we decided to share a recipe for a delicious pesto where you can use some of these weeds, like nettle and bishop’s elder.
We can always make something with what nature gives us—we just need to be creative!
We’d also like to take this opportunity to announce the creation of a cookbook that we’ll be sharing with you in June :)

Hello beautiful people 🌞🧚🏻✨

Last Tuesday, May 12, we welcomed a new group of volunteers. These eight curious and motivated young people will experience community life for five weeks and learn more about sustainable practices such as permaculture, food and plant production, and natural building.

In order of appearance, we have:

Antonina - the seedling, eager to soak up as much knowledge on eco building processes as possible

Tilia - the tallest, looking to deepen her connection with herself and practice gratitude

Valentina - the clown, who really wants to milk a cow

Manon - cat lover, who is really looking forward to learning about permaculture practices and take home ideas for her families garden

Sneža - the crafty one, who wants to learn gardening, sustainable living, connect with people and gather ideas

Arthur - the bird lover, who wants to bring more meditation into his life

Véïa - the “cooking chef” - who wants to practically expand her knowledge on natural building

Inês - sleepy, who wants to step out of her comfort zone by cooking a delicious Portuguese meal for everyone

Through Jakob‘s peephole.

It was an evening, almost like one of them in the summer. I heard the crickets, the frogs, the wind in the trees, almost like a warm breeze. I’ve seen the green forest, the clouds colorful from the sun setting.

Welcomed by this and by wonderful people on my arrival to the Farm Veles I live here already since one week.

Between cleaning sessions, raking and pitching up tents for the upcoming team volunteering we transplanted tomatoes and basil - I’ve learned that they are not just going well on the plate but also supporting each other while growing - prepared and stored food.

Otherwise I enjoyed doing nothing in my freetime and exploring the value of that - so peaceful. I played with animals, enjoyed nature, connected with people, read, walked, ran, lying in the grass and everything in between.

Grateful for it all 🤍

Then, with the help of countless hands and hearts, the farm will be transformed into a supportive environment to search for our own way of leading and to get to know and embrace the inner leader that is within each one of us.

Vaja dela mojstra... čez čas pa mojster dela vajo.
TADELAKT
Najmlajši vajenec izdelave dekorativne tehnike tadelakt v Sloveniji. Še 100 m² pa bo pravi mojster, kot njegov oče.
Izdelava tadelakta je zelo zahtevna tehnika, ki ne dopušča napak. Vse se mora zgoditi v točno določenemu času.
Bila sva super tim. Več v galeriji.
