The Bridge - art of crossing
Erasmus+ training course
2. - 9. November 2026
Slovenia

The Bridge: The Art of Crossing is a 6-day Erasmus+ training course that explores the bridge as a living metaphor for connection, relationality, and support.
A bridge is not built from strength alone.

It exists through a dynamic relationship between foundations, materials, tension, movement, and balance.
It is a structure that allows two different shores to remain connected while honouring the distance between them.
Inspired by somatics, ecopsychology and systemic approaches, this training explores the bridge as an embodied practice of relating — to ourselves, to others, to communities, and to the more-than-human world.

Together, we will explore the symbolic wisdom of the bridge and what it teaches us about connection, transition, and meeting across differences. The bridge reminds us that crossing is not only about reaching another shore; it is about how we travel through the space in-between. It teaches us to stay present while moving through uncertainty, to trust support without losing our own ground, and to remain open to growth that happens through encounter.

We aim to have 28 participants from Slovenia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.

Glimpses of
Ecotone - knowledge of the edge Erasmus+ training course

This project investigated how the edges of one thing are the beginning of another.
How an ending already holds the consciousness of a beginning.
Edge is a space that is potent with knowledge we don't yet know.
With growth that has the power to enrich us.
Edge can also be a place where my boundary meets yours.
And in that space, both you and I can exist without the need to modify ourselves in order to belong.

Edge can be a meeting of different cultures,
of different religions,
of different opinions.
And with that, it can be seen as a space that can offer a variety of perspectives
we didn't yet consider possible,
fruitful or beautiful.

I wish we could meet on the edges that are unknown to us.
That we could drop our judgment and allow ourselves to step into the unknown potential of possibilities.
Because the edge of my knowledge is the beginning of the knowledge I haven't yet discovered.

Because an edge is an ecotone.
And in nature, ecotones are a source of biodiversity,
a source of life,
and a source of differences coexisting.

The Desert / Compass of Stillness
Erasmus+ training course November, 2025 in Slovenia

This 7-day Erasmus+ training course invited participants into the desert, not as a physical landscape, but as a living symbol of the inner terrains we all traverse. The desert, vast and quiet, evokes the personal moments of emptiness, pause, and stillness that often precede transformation. Within its silence lies both challenge and potential: the absence of familiar paths becomes an invitation to rediscover resilience, creativity, and connection.By weaving symbolic, embodied, and creative approaches together, this training empowered youth workers and facilitators to become skilled companions in life’s transitional spaces.
The desert is not not a place of despair, but a vital threshold toward renewal.

Ecosystem of Sensations
21.-29-4- 2026 in Slovenian forest

This Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that invited young people to explore perception, embodied awareness, and their relationship with themselves, others and the natural environment.

The project focused on extended sensorial awareness: how we sensed, perceived, and related to the world when we slowed down, paid attention, and allowed our senses to expand beyond habitual, logical, or socially conditioned ways of knowing.
Through this exploration, we opened a space that became a poetic, experiential place of practice and research.
A place where we questioned how this related to us,
and therefore to the world around us.

In April, we welcomed 24 participants to join us in the Ecosystem of Sensations youth exchange. We wanted to co-create a wide, creative space where our personal ecosystems can meet the ecosystem of nature and each other. And with that, boosting creativity and inspiration within the simplicity of living while being together. Together questioning…
How could being more aware make us more sensitive?
How did being more sensitive contribute to the world around us?

It was a pleasure to witness how the program was shaped by emerging inspirations, the wish to offer, to invite, to share, to contribute.

This booklet is a lens into the project.
We hope you find it meaningful.

“The learning process for me happened on an implicit, embodied, pre-reflective level. It was not cognitive or language-based, so there are no or little words to attach to it. Rather than learning through thinking or conceptual understanding, the process for me unfolded through bodily experience, gradually anchoring me more deeply in my body, in myself, and in nature. It was an embodied process of integration rather than a cognitive one. So it is more a feeling than a thought that I would share about my learning process.”

We started our ecosystem of sensations youth exchange with questions:

how the body knows before language

how attention changes reality

how sensing creates connection

how nature is felt, not observed

how silence, movement, touch, sound reshape perception.

There are no answers,
only exploration.

🙏🏻

Senses are doorways to wisdom.

The Desert, Compass of Stillness
Erasmus+ training course
November, 2025 in Slovenia
-
Its important that what we experienced doesn’t stay as a memory in our bodies, but can offer ripples to our communities.
The desert, as we encountered it, was not only a metaphor but a felt experience, a space of pause, emptiness, and presence. Within that space, something essential had room to surface.

This booklet is a reflection on the Erasmus+ training course exploring the metaphor of the “Desert” as a space of transition, uncertainty, and transformation. It brings together the core ideas of the project, participants’ testimonials, the structure and flow of the week, and a closing reflection on the experience.

It also highlights why working with themes of liminality and embodied awareness is important in youth work, and introduces the facilitators who held the process.

Hope reading it you can find some inspiration.
Let us know how it lands.

▪️ 7+ Senses Project Results ▪️

Exploring Sensory Awareness as the Foundation for Emotional Resilience
Erasmus+ training course
11. - 19. June 2025
Slovenia

As one of the project results, we created this booklet.
It shares the experiences and learning outcomes of the 7+ Senses Erasmus+ training course. It was created to document the process, insights, and methods explored during the training and to inspire others working with young people and groups.

Inside the booklet, you will find an overview of the project and its goals, the results and learning outcomes, and reflections from participants who took part in the training. It also presents the benefits of working with sensory awareness and body-based practices, particularly in the context of youth work and group facilitation.

The booklet includes a description of the flow of the training week, showing how the learning process unfolded through movement, reflection, connection with nature, and group exploration.

By sharing these experiences, we hope to inspire youth workers, educators, and facilitators to explore sensory awareness, embodied learning, and nature-based practices in their own work with young people and communities.
