Saturday night memorial on Radio Študent 89,3 MHz, dedicated to Rohan Dasguptaa’s life and career, is now possible to hear online. In this almost three-hour session from 2016, marking his beginnings in Slovenia, Rohan speaks about growing up in a musical family in Kolkata, dedicating his life to the sitar, and his broad perception and approach to making music. He shares his influences, speaks about his musical journey, and plays an intimate solo in the radio’s studio. A beautiful and deeply personal session that offers a rare glimpse into Rohan’s world, his music, and the person behind it, an in depth way to remember and celebrate his life and legacy.
