The debates continued on day 2! Also had the honour to hear the youngest Srebrenica genocide survivor Nedžad Avdić. His life story was touching to say the least.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide. Never since the Second World War has tragedy of that magnitude struck so close to Slovenia or touched so many we share our lives with. 💔

To commemorate the solemn occasion, the 8372 Living Memories memorial project has prepared an exhibition titled Memories of Witnesses Living Among Us Today. These are not stories of death, but of life and hope. The exhibition will be displayed in the halls of the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana.

One of the those witnesses is Nedžad Avdić. He was 17 when he escaped Srebrenica and will present his new book on Saturday, November 29, at 2 PM in the Golden Lecture Hall at the Faculty of Law.
