Every year, our team develops topics to spark meaningful dialogue among young professionals in international security and foreign affairs. 🌐🔍

Last year’s conference brought together 71 participants, in total, from 22 countries over three days to discuss some of today’s most pressing challenges. It once again showed that the next generation has a vital role to play in shaping the security of our collective future. 🤝

This year, BalkanSAYS will take place from 𝟭𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟮 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿! Don’t miss our soon-to-be-announced call for participants. We will also soon reveal this year’s main conference theme, followed by the exciting topics shaping Balkan SAYS 2026. 👀

Over a decade ago, a group of passionate young individuals gathered and came up with the idea—what is today known as Balkan SAYS ➡️ a youth conference dedicated to strengthening cooperation, security, and stability across the Euro-Atlantic area and the Western Balkans 🤝.

This three-day event offers participants an in-depth perspective into some of the most pressing security, political, and societal challenges shaping the region and the wider Euro-Atlantic space. Through panel discussions and one-on-one talks, interactive workshops, and networking, it brings together young professionals and experts to exchange perspectives, build trust, and foster long-term cooperation. 🌍🔄

This year's will take place in mid-September, with exact dates to be announced soon. Don’t miss the upcoming call for participants in June.
