We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest research on “ChatGPT and Higher Education in the EU: Implications for the Future Labour Market.”
The publication explores how generative AI—particularly ChatGPT—is reshaping teaching, learning, and skills development in European higher education, and what this means for future employability and labour-market dynamics. By combining a systematic review of the literature with insights into students’ early perceptions as early AI adopters, the study highlights both opportunities and challenges and offers policy-relevant conclusions for educators, institutions, and decision-makers.
As AI technologies continue to evolve rapidly, this work contributes to an evidence-based discussion on how higher education can adapt while strengthening creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and long-term employability in a digital European society.
