im so happy that after few years i have honour again to work with horse spirit. Sound and energy of drum made with horse skin is so special.
Horse represents power, healing, and emotional intelligence, often acting as a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds.
In Lakota culture, the horse is called šúŋkawakȟáŋ (“holy dog” or “mysterious dog”), symbolizing personal drive, freedom, power, and a sacred connection to the spirit world. They are considered relatives and trusted companions, not merely property, and are associated with the Thunder Beings (Wakíŋyaŋ).
