Slovenia’s success story in battling cervical cancer, acknowledged also internationally was center stage yesterday at the Tallinn Charter 15th Anniversary High Level Conference on Trust and Transformation.

Slovenia’s ZORA program was one of the case studies featured as examples of successful transformation in health care - with trust at the heart.

Sharing the Slovenian experience and progress eliminating cervical cancer:
• Urška Ivanuš, MD, PhD, Head of National Program on Cervical Screening ZORA and
• Špela Smrkolj, MD, Specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Head of Expert Group for Gynaecology of Programme ZORA and supported by technical intervention of
• Dr Tit Albreht, Head of the Center for Health Care, National Institute of Public Health.

The discussion was rounded with importance of engaging with civil society and youth organisations in shaping the future health policy, stressed by:
• Dr Vesna Kerstin Petrič, Head of Office for Cooperation with WHO at Slovenian Ministry of Health.
