...OBVESTILO IN POZIV RIBIŠKE DRUŽINE KOPER : ‼️‼️ vodostaj reke Rižane je že nekaj tednov zelo nizek ‼️‼️, prihajajoči vročinski val pa bo v prihodnjih dneh še poslabšal ekološko stanje reke Rižane...ker je pretok zelo majhen, se zaradi izredno visokih temperatur ozračja voda pregreva in v spodnjem delu Rižane že dosega kritično mejo, v prihodnjih dneh se bo stanje še poslabšalo...
..⚠️zato POZIVAMO predvsem kmete, ki tudi v teh dneh nezakonito ( brez kakršnihkoli vodnih dovoljenj ) iz Rižane množično črpajo velike količine vode za zalivanje polj ob celotnem toku reke Rižane, naj s tem TAKOJ prenehajo - s svojim nezakonitim početjem v teh dneh resno ogrožajo vodni živelj reke Rižane ‼️ ⚠️...
.. ‼️ ribiški čuvaji bodo v prihodnjih dneh na terenu in vsak nezakonit odvzem vode bo ustrezno dokumentiran in takoj prijavljen pristojnim inšpekcijskim službam v nadaljni postopek ‼️...

Ponovno nam je uspelo - uspelo na resne obraze zvabiti iskrene, brezskrbne nasmehe!✨

​Že 4. leto zapored smo bili del čarobnih in nepozabnih trenutkov otroških življenj. Trenutkov, ko se stvari zgodijo prvič: prvič na morju (ja, voda je res slana! 🌊), prvič na ladji, na vodnih igralih, v bazenih... in za nekatere celo prvič v svoji postelji. 🥺

​Tudi tokrat smo izvedli poletni tabor za otroke z manj priložnostmi iz Makedonije, in sicer v tesnem sodelovanju z Rotary klub Koper Academia Litoralis in Rotary Club Skopje North. Brez vas nam ne bi uspelo! 🤝

​Iskrena hvala tudi vsem prijateljem z Obale, ki ste otrokom tudi letos omogočili vrsto nepozabnih doživetij. Brez vas te pravljice ne bi bilo:

• This week was our last at Park Istra, which means only one thing– with this post, we’re saying goodbye to you.✨

These two months went by quickly. We learned, grew, tried to adapt, and hopefully made a positive difference in the lives of others. Now it’s time to move on and go our separate ways again, carrying with us both the beauty and the challenges we experienced.

Every place that, for a moment, feels like home, the people we meet and deeply connect with, and the season of life we’re living right now— none of it is permanent. And that’s exactly what makes it a bit more precious.

Knowing that we’re moving through the ever-changing current of life reminds us to hold what we have with open hands, to be grateful for the little things, and not to expect them to last forever.

We’ve been part of the long journey herbs and plants take before becoming the final product, adjusting our working schedule to match the rising temperatures.

Early mornings in the fields.
Afternoons by the sea or hiking to waterfalls, finding a little relief from the heat before another day begins.

And a little Midsummer celebration in between. ✨ •

• We’ve been a bit quiet on here lately. 🌱

A vacation week took us beyond Park Istra for some new adventures, and once we got back, there was no shortage of things awaiting us. The vineyard needed attention, the eco-farm kept us busy, and the hiking trails were calling once again.

Between work, nature, and a few spontaneous sunset-chasing missions, the days have been passing quickly. So here’s a little glimpse of what we’ve been up to in these days. • 🌞

🌿🥕 • Among other activities, we’ve been spending our days at Eco-farm Brhanovi since last week. The time we’ve spent helping out here has given us a sense of purpose, allowing us to see the kind of change that can be achieved when people come together for a common goal.

We’ve discovered things we’d never tried before, like driving a tractor or planting on a large scale using machinery. We’ve also been enjoying the company of Zoro, the sweetest little bear you can imagine.

This place has definitely left a mark on our hearts. • 💚

Another week flew by in the blink of an eye. The days here feel short, yet they’re filled to the brim. Somewhere along the way, we found a subtle balance between diving headfirst into action each day, and slowing down enough to embrace the lightness of simply being. •

• New stories are being woven into the memory of Park Istra.🌿🌺
May had just begun when 15 of us arrived here with the intention of learning more about both the world around us and the one hidden within. The first week and a half was all about getting to know each other better, painting, renovating, helping out at animal shelters and cooking, as well as taking time to rest - in short, adapting to this new lifestyle that will be our home away from home for the weeks to come.
And it’s precisely the mixture of cultures, experiences, and willingness to give when and where needed that makes this time already feel very special. •
