CEEMAN was established in 1993 with the aim of accelerating the growth in quality of management development in central and eastern Europe. It is a global network of management development institutions interested in quality of education and innovations in this field, as well as in the broad area of subjects related to change. CEEMAN has expanded to include over 200 institutional and individual members from 54 countries across the globe.

We were delighted to welcome representatives from UIBE (University of International Business and Economics) to CEEMAN in Bled, Slovenia.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to exchange updates on our current initiatives, strategic priorities, and future plans. We also explored several exciting avenues for collaboration, including faculty development, joint research projects, short-term mobility opportunities for faculty and students, quality assurance and international accreditation, as well as the organization of joint events in China.

A particularly fruitful discussion focused on opportunities for cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and beyond, with both institutions expressing a strong interest in strengthening international academic partnerships and fostering knowledge exchange.

We look forward to developing these ideas further and building a meaningful and long-lasting collaboration with UIBE.
