If you've been wondering whether FAWI (Farmed Animal Welfare Incubator) programme is right for you, hear from some of our previous incubatees.
๐ฌ Lo**ta Saras, co-founder of Across Species Project Indonesia (ASPI), came into the programme without a clear direction: "I didn't even have a fixed plan on which issue, on what to work on โ and then we learned about the research that Welfare Matters provided, and then we also did our own research."
๐ฌ Shreya Basu, co-founder of Sentient Animals Vietnam (SAV) , found that the programme's structure did something most training programmes don't: "It gave me a lot of opportunities to work with different people โ not just meet them, not just talk to them, but actually work on real tasks with them."
๐ฌ And Tra My Nguyen, also a co-founder of Sentient Animals Vietnam (SAV), put it simply: "If you're really hesitating and you want to experience the same from zero to hero journey..." โ this is your sign.
FAWI is a fully funded, 12-week programme supporting individuals in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam to build impactful initiatives focused on layer hen and farmed fish welfare.
Incubatees receive:
โ
A monthly stipend
โ
Mentorship and training
โ
Co-founder matching
โ
Seed funding of up to USD 50,000
Could you be the next founder helping farmed animals in Southeast Asia?
