We’ve all tried at least one of these 👀
Swipe through and see how many you’re guilty of.
One bad session and suddenly the racket is the problem 😂
Before changing your equipment, look at your timing, positioning and contact point. Sometimes the racket is perfectly innocent.
Watched 37 badminton tutorials.
Now you have 37 things going through your head every rally. 🫠
Pick one problem. Work on one clear adjustment. Give it time to stick.
Playing more badminton ≠ automatically getting better at badminton.
Repetition reinforces whatever you’re repeating, including the bad habits. Train with a purpose, not just for more hours.
Ask five badminton players how to fix your technique and you might get five different answers. 😵💫
Good advice can still become bad advice when you’re trying to apply all of it at once. Pick a direction and commit to it.
Your clear keeps landing mid-court, so naturally you swing even harder…
Except sometimes the problem isn’t power at all. If you’re late and taking the shuttle behind you, swinging harder won’t magically give you a good clear.
Get there earlier. Get behind the shuttle. Then use the swing. 🏸
Good coaching shouldn’t leave you with 20 things to remember every time you step on court.
It should help you understand what’s going wrong, why it’s happening, and the 1 or 2 things that matter most right now.
So before the next racket enters your shopping cart… 👀
Ask yourself: what actually needs fixing?
Save this for your next bad session, or send it to the friend who changes rackets every time they lose. 😂🏸
