The Rotary Club of Singapore

The Rotary Club of Singapore The Rotary Club of Singapore is Singapore's oldest and largest Rotary Club. We persevere until we deliver real, lasting solutions. HOW WE DO IT?

Rotary is a global organization with 1.2 members and 35,000+ clubs across the globe. Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. The Rotary Club of Singapore just celebrated its 95th Anniversary in 2025 and is a vibrant club with over 160 diverse members who are business leaders and professionals acr

oss a wide range of industries and nationalities. They volunteer their time, talent, and treasure to solve pressing problems and support the community in Singapore, and around the world. Each day, our members pour their passion, integrity, and intelligence into completing projects that have a lasting impact. Rotary members volunteer 16 million hours each year. For more than 110 years, Rotary has bridged cultures and connected continents to champion peace, fight illiteracy and poverty, promote clean water and sanitation, and fight disease. Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world? Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group that shares your drive to give back. The Club is governed by an annually elected Board. Our activities are structured around these areas:

- Through Club Service, we have fun, build lasting friendships, and make sure that our club runs well.

- Through Vocational Service, we volunteer our professional skills to serve others and promote integrity in everything we do.

- Through Community Service, we address local needs and work with our community to bring lasting improvements.

- Through International Service, we meet humanitarian needs around the globe and promote world understanding and peace.

- Through Youth Service, we work with young people to help them become the next generation of leaders, visionaries, and peacemakers. OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES:

THE FOUR-WAY TEST:

The Four-way Test underscores our commitment to integrity. Of the things we think, say or do:

Is it the TRUTH? FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? THE GUIDE TO DAILY LIVING:

Before doing the things we want to do, consider first, the precepts of the guide. Ask ourselves these 4 questions and act upon them:

First: Have I spent some time in self-examination? Second: Have I spent quality time with my family? Third: Have I given my best to my work? Fourth: Have I given some time to someone near and far? The Guide, in fact, encompasses the 4 parts of the Object of Rotary

Your time, energy, and a passion to improve your world are all you need to get involved with Rotary. Become one of Rotary’s people of action β€” whatever your age or interest β€” if you want to improve lives in communities near and far, and build friendships for a lifetime. Connect with us at Rotary Club of Singapore to find out how you can get involved. Write to us at [email protected]

🎨 A Legacy of Creativity β€” A Weekend to Remember

The Rotary Club of Singapore was proud to be part of A Legacy of Creativity, held from 17–19 April at the Visual Arts Centre.

With over 100 guests at the launch, it was a beautiful celebration of art, inclusion, and community. We were honoured to have Mayor Denise Phua join us and share her inspiring message on building a more inclusive society.

In partnership with ART:DIS Singapore, this exhibition created a meaningful platform for artists with disabilities to showcase their work β€” and more importantly, their stories of courage, resilience, and creativity. πŸ’™

✨ The weekend featured wonderful highlights, including:

* A captivating finger-painting demonstration by Mdm Lim Sue Luan
* A stunning live orchid painting by Nicole Koo
* The presence of past Artisan of the Year Award recipients and supporters

Moments like these remind us that art has the power to connect, uplift, and transform lives.

A heartfelt thank you to all our partners, artists, volunteers, and supporters who made this possible. Together, we continue to create spaces of dignity, opportunity, and inspiration.
