The church gathers on Sundays at 10am to encounter Jesus and each other. We are not just a service you attend but a family that you can belong to.

We are starting a new sermon series, “Faith Expressed,” exploring what it looks like to actually live out our faith in everyday life. Tim kicked us off with a sermon titled “Easier Said Than Done,” speaking about the posture of our hearts through the Parable of the Sower in Mark 4:13–20. Through this passage, we learn that it is possible to be in a crowd, spectating Jesus, yet be blind and deaf to His true call to follow Him, and that is also true of us today.

While it is easier said than done for our hearts to be good soil, Jesus extends His grace to us in our weakness and calls us to come to Him with honesty: to lay all our wants, pains and anger at His feet, so that our hearts can be ready to hear how He is inviting us to follow, trust and obey Him.

May we continually learn to have the posture of an open heart, so that we can receive all that God has for us in this season, and allow His Word to take root in us and bear abundant fruit.

Happy Monday, ! Here’s a look back at the moments we shared in service yesterday 📸 Our GO! Kids celebrated Children’s Day with a fun day out, while we started on a new sermon series titled ‘Faith Expressed’.

As we begin our new sermon series, let us prepare ourselves with hearts of good soil, that we would hear His word and allow it to grow and bear fruit in us.

“The nearness of God is my ‘tov’.” — Janice

Janice shared from Psalm 73, reminding us that God’s goodness is not dependent on getting what we hope for or having an easy life.

Like Asaph, we may have moments when what we see around us makes us question God’s goodness. But as we draw near to Him, our perspective is reoriented. We remember that God is not simply the giver of good things; He Himself is our good.

When life does not make sense, draw near to God. We can bring our questions honestly to Him, remember His goodness, and choose to trust Him even when we cannot see the whole picture.

Ps. John shared on Knowing The Father’s Heart And Love, looking at Matthew 11 and what it means to truly know the Father and live as His beloved sons and daughters.

The Father’s love is not something we have to earn or prove ourselves worthy of. He invites us to live from the security of knowing that we are His beloved.

Church, this week as you go about your life, slow down and receive the Father’s love. Let who you are in Him shape how you see yourself and live each day. We do not have to live as orphans trying to prove ourselves, but as ones secure in His love and carrying His heart wherever we go.

Hey , here’s a look back at some moments from service last Sunday. 📸

This week, be reminded that before we are called to do for God, we are first called to be His sons and daughters. Our identity is not found in what we achieve, what we do, or what others think of us, but in knowing the Father’s love for us.

Take some time to slow down, receive His love, and live from the security of knowing you are His beloved child.

“Don’t let fear reinterpret God through your circumstances. Look at the Son and what God has done.” — Sng Peh Han

Fear can change the way we remember. In Exodus, the Israelites looked back at Egypt and wondered if slavery was better than where God was leading them. What was familiar began to seem safer than trusting God with the unknown.

Ps. Peh Han reminded us that going from fear to faith should be our response to the character of God. His steadfast love remains, even when we are faithless, and His care for us has always been evident.

Rather than looking to our circumstances for proof that God is for us, we can trust what He has already revealed through His promises and through the gift of His Son.

Hi City Fam! Over the weekend, our church family was mobilised to serve and bless communities across our city! From lending a helping hand to simply showing up and being present, it was a joy to see so many of us carrying the love of Christ wherever we went.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who gave your time, energy and heart to serve. 🙌 Your willingness to step out and love our city is a beautiful reflection of who Jesus is.
