As we enter a new week, let our prayer be that we become people with a different spirit: those who choose to interpret life’s circumstances through the lens of God’s faithfulness rather than fear.

“Familiarity is not merely knowing something well. It is when repeated exposure stops producing wonder, attentiveness, and response in us.” Andre Tan

Ps. Andre concluded our Paradoxology series, with a sharing from Matthew 13:53–58 on the tragedy of familiarity.

The people of Nazareth were initially amazed by Jesus, yet their familiarity with Him eventually gave way to offence. In the same way, we can become so accustomed to the things of God that we begin going through the motions, missing what He wants to do in and through us.

The antidote to this is honour which creates receptivity to what God wants to give, and deeper hunger for Him.

May we guard our hearts against familiarity that diminishes our wonder of Jesus. Instead, may our familiarity with Him lead us into greater awe, honour, and devotion.

Here’s a look back at the time we had in service together yesterday. 📸

As we step into a new week, may we guard our hearts against familiarity that dulls our awe and wonder of Jesus. May we continue to seek Him afresh and remain hungry for all that He wants to do in and through us.

“The Father comes to bring us home, but what hinders us from coming home to Him?” -

This week, we had the honour of having Wayne speak to us on the Fatherheart of God through the Parable of the Prodigal Son. The parable illustrates just how great God’s love is for us. Even in times when we go wayward and leave His side, whether because of sin and shame or because we feel like we aren’t good enough, He is longing for us to return to Him, and His compassion and grace will restore us regardless of our past mistakes.

Are there parts of our hearts that are yearning to be held, to be hugged and kissed over and over by our loving Father? In areas where we feel unloved, may we be reminded of God’s never-ending grace, and know that we have a Father who loves us so much that He will run to us when we choose once again to come home and draw close to Him.

“The gospel is not merely losing everything for Jesus but discovering something so beautiful that everything else finds its rightful place.” —

On week 6 of our Paradoxology series, Timothy shared from Matthew 13:44-46 on how the Kingdom of God is the hidden reality humanity has longed for, now revealed in Jesus Christ.

Like the man who found treasure in a field and the merchant who discovered the pearl of great price, we too are invited to joyfully reorient our entire lives around the King and His Kingdom.

This is not about reluctant sacrifice or giving up what we love, but about encountering something of such surpassing worth that it reshapes every part of our lives.

And as we continue to behold the beauty of God, our obedience and passion for Him are continually deepened.

Hey , what a beautiful service we had yesterday! We celebrated with three families as they dedicated their children to the Lord. We stand with these families to support and love them as they raise their children to love God and walk in His ways.

As we step into this new week, may we see the beauty and worth of Jesus in a fresh new way that will move our hearts to say “yes” to Him over and over again in surrender.

“A torch is not a private devotion, but a public declaration. If someone looked only at the outward signs of your faith, would they see a burning torch?” -

Continuing our series on Paradoxology, Janice spoke on the Parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25:1–13. This parable reveals how the waiting season ultimately exposes those who have not prepared themselves, like the foolish virgins whose torches burned out, and those who remained ready for His coming, like the wise virgins who brought extra flasks of oil for the bridegroom’s arrival.

From Genesis to Revelation, the pattern remains the same: preparation must precede the moment, and the moment cannot be negotiated. Knowing this, may we not live as though we have more time than we do, but instead live watchful, prepared, and ready for His return.

We hope you’ve had a good start to your week, , and that you were blessed by His presence and Spirit in service yesterday. The GO! Kids also learnt how to praise the Lord through flagging, waving their colourful flags and worshipping Jesus!

Just as Janice spoke on the Parable of the Ten Virgins, may we learn the importance of preparing ourselves by living in anticipation and longing for the Bridgegroom’s coming.

“The Christian life is not sustained through willpower, intensity or personality, but through union with Christ and obedience flowing from truth.” -

We are on week 4 of Paradoxology, and this week Ps. Peh Han brought us through the parable of the wise and foolish builders in Matthew 7:24-27, from which we learn to ask the question: What are we building our lives upon?

The distinction between a wise and a foolish builder is that while both can hear Jesus’ words, the wise one listens and turns his heart toward God in surrender and obedience, thus building foundations on the rock of God, while the foolish one builds foundations based on his own strength and knowledge. While both houses can appear strong when conditions are calm, true strength is tested under pressure when the storms of life come and reveal the hidden foundations.

May we be a people who not just listen to God’s words, but surrender our lives fully to Him, so that we can be truly aligned and rooted in Him and build our lives on the right foundations.
