A huge thank you to everyone who made our FMAS Charity Padel Carnival on Sat 15 Aug 2026 a smashing success! It was an incredible day of competition, camaraderie and fun, all in support of the FMAS Trampoline Fund.

The FMAS Internship Preparation Course 2026 has come to a successful close, and we couldn't be more encouraged by the enthusiasm, curiosity and dedication shown by our participants throughout the programme.

Over the course of the programme, students from local and overseas universities had the opportunity to gain practical insights into the financial markets through a combination of classroom learning, industry sharing sessions, company visits and a final trade idea presentation.

From understanding the fundamentals of FX, Fixed Income and Derivatives, to exploring the growing role of AI in investment research, sharpening presentation skills, and experiencing life inside leading financial institutions, participants gained a valuable glimpse into the fast-paced and dynamic world of financial markets.

The programme concluded with a Trade Idea Pitch, where participants presented their investment ideas to a distinguished panel of industry judges Lee Chin Wee, Kenneth Kan, Zhen Li and Siddiq Poh. Beyond assessing their presentations, the judges provided valuable feedback and insights, helping students strengthen their analytical thinking, communication skills and confidence.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated trainers Li Zhen & Team, Kelvin Tan, Dr Suwandi Lie, Lee Chin Wee, John Lagman, Dr Chen Yuan, and Sian Goh, and our judges for generously sharing your expertise, experiences and encouragement throughout the programme. Your passion for developing the next generation of finance professionals made this learning journey truly meaningful.

We are also sincerely grateful to Bloomberg, DBS, and Dymon Asia Capital for opening your doors to our participants and providing invaluable industry exposure through your company visits. These experiences allowed students to witness first-hand the diverse career opportunities within Singapore's financial markets ecosystem.

A special thank you to Stephanie Yeo and the Bloomberg team for your warm hospitality and for making our visit such an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Finally, congratulations to all our participants for embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and determination. Join us for a fun-filled charity padel event where teams will come together not only for friendly competition, but also to support a meaningful cause where you can also donate on the day.
