"Toastmasters is becoming more relevant than ever despite the upheavals brought about by AI."
That was one of the key takeaways from the insightful panel discussion at Division M Achievers' Day yesterday.
While AI can help with scripting, research, and other heavy lifting, it cannot replace the human connection that makes communication truly impactful. As Wekie Tay, DTM, aptly shared:
"The same script presented by different speakers on stage will have vastly different impact because of their varied experiences and skills."
As we celebrated the achievements of clubs and members across Division M, we were reminded that Toastmasters provides more than just a platform to practise public speaking and leadership. It offers opportunities for growth, learning, and transformation, but the real results come when members consistently put in the work.
The impact is evident not only on the Toastmasters stage, but also in our personal lives, careers, and leadership journeys.
We are proud that SRC Toastmasters Club was recognised with the Super Club of the Year Award, received on behalf of the club by Anne Lee, Eugene Low, Elita Thia, and Napoleon Koh.
A special congratulations to Eugene Low for being named Division M Area M1 Toastmaster of the Year 2025โ2026. ๐ Your dedication, service, and commitment to excellence continue to inspire us all.
Here's to continuous learning, effective communication, and leadership growth in an AI-powered world!
