What inspired Sean to become an educator began years ago at PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Telok Blangah Blk 44.

From being empowered as a young student during Sports Day to performing at his K2 graduation concert, school was a place where Sean felt encouraged, supported and seen by his teachers.

Those moments stayed with him. Today, Sean pays it forward as an educator with MOE, guiding and inspiring the next generation just as his teachers once did for him.

As PCF marks 40 years, Sean’s journey is a reminder that a caring start can spark a lifelong passion to make a difference.

Our four PCF Sparkletots Nee Soon Central preschools came together for a meaningful litter picking activity with the Public Hygiene Council. The children were so excited to play their part in keeping the neighbourhood clean.

Armed with gloves and bags, our little ones eagerly took on the role of keeping their community clean, learning along the way that caring for the environment starts with small everyday actions. From spotting tiny pieces of litter to working together as a team, the activity became a meaningful opportunity for children and families to contribute back to the community together.

Through experiences like these, we hope to nurture socially responsible children who care not only for their surroundings, but also for the people around them.

“What do children actually learn from gardening?”

Ms Nani, one of our educators at PCF Sparkletots @ Tampines Central Blk 867A, shares how gardening helps children learn through lived experiences beyond the classroom.

As children plant, water, and care for growing plants, they begin to develop patience, responsibility, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for nature 🌱

Guided closely by our educators in a safe and supportive environment, these sessions also creates meaningful opportunities for children to interact with the community, build social confidence, and experience learning in authentic everyday settings.

Thank you to all the families who joined us at our Discovery Day!

From hands-on activities to little moments of exploration and play, it was lovely seeing the children settle in, get curious, and enjoy themselves throughout the session.

We hope parents left with a better understanding of how learning comes to life at our preschools through meaningful experiences, play, and everyday interactions.

Congratulations to our educators and little ones for their outstanding achievements at the Thumbs Up Little Junior Nursery Rhymes Competition! 🎉

Out of 462 entries submitted, the winning rhyme was composed by Ms Lyu Meng from PCF Sparkletots @ Nee Soon Central Blk 671, celebrating Singapore’s unique social and cultural experiences through music and storytelling.

We are proud to celebrate:
