Coming Home to Ourselves

Over the years, our classes have always pointed towards cultivating a strong body, a clear mind and a strong sense of self.

But perhaps another deeper intention is to go inward — to quiet the noise, reconnect with what is essential and remember the feeling of being at home within ourselves.

Partnership with The Ark on a special Gong therapy has added a heightened layer of awareness and wellbeing. We are grateful to have the opportunity to learn so much from Noel and team.

Whether you’re a long-time member or joining us as a guest, our hope is that each practice offers a space to pause, breathe, listen and return to yourself.

🌿 TEI × THE ARK | 5 Weeks of Gong Exploration

We marked the beginning of our 5-week partnership with Noel of The Ark on 14 August at TEI Studio — exploring how the ancient tradition of gong can meet modern wellbeing to invite calm, restoration, clarity and inspiration for both mind and body.

Many arrive expecting simply to relax — or perhaps fall asleep (which can happen easily!). But the experience can go beyond rest. Through changing rhythms, frequencies and combinations of sound, we invite you to explore different states of awareness — from a busy mind towards deeper stillness, presence and inner clarity.

✨ Featured here are two contrasting gongs:
The blue titanium gong offers clear, shimmering and expansive tones with long resonance, while the traditional-style gong beside it produces warmer, richer layers of harmonics. Played together, their contrasting voices create a beautiful and immersive soundscape.

And this is only the beginning.

Every Friday, Noel will introduce different gong combinations and variations — making each session a new experience.

Come experience sound not simply as something you hear, but something you feel through the whole body.
