🪙🏆 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 🏆🪙

Behind every carrom shot is a mix of skill, strategy, and quick thinking.

The tournament brought together players of different experience levels, creating a mix of fast-paced rounds and closely contested matches. It was a chance for participants to test their skills, learn from one another, and enjoy some friendly competition.

Congratulations to all our winners and everyone who joined in 👏 Beyond the competition, it was good to see players sharing tips, learning from one another, and enjoying the game together.

We were also glad to have 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 with us — currently World No. 5 and one of Singapore’s top carrom players — helping to referee the matches and guide participants along the way. His presence gave many players the chance to sharpen their skills and pick up new techniques.

Thank you to the Association of Carrom Singapore for supporting the tournament and making the session possible. We look forward to more carrom sessions at Hope Village soon. 💛

🩹⛑️ 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗜𝗗 & 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 ⛑️🩹

Hope Village @ KBRC was glad to host yesterday's First Aid & Safety Talk, organised by St John Brigade Singapore and ItsRainingRaincoats for our migrant worker brothers.

From handling cuts and wounds to learning what to do in cases of fractures or heat injuries, the session covered simple but important skills that can make a difference in everyday life.

There was plenty of listening, learning, and hands-on sharing as our brothers worked through practical situations they may face at work or in the dormitory.

Sometimes, knowing what to do in the first few minutes can make all the difference. That’s why sessions like these matter.

Thank you to St John Brigade Singapore and ItsRainingRaincoats for organising and leading this meaningful session, and for equipping our brothers with practical knowledge to care for themselves and one another. 💛

A big thank you to Friends of Gardenia for their generous sponsorship of buns for our migrant worker brothers at Hope Village @ KBRC.

The buns were distributed during our programmes and activities and were enjoyed by many visitors throughout the day. Small gestures like these go a long way in supporting the work we do and the community we serve.

🎁✨ 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦, 𝗚𝗜𝗙𝗧𝗦 & 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 ✨🎁

We were pleased to welcome Anderson Serangoon Junior College (ASRJC) to Hope Village @ KBRC for their Games Carnival. 💛

Throughout the evening, migrant worker brothers dropped by to take part in games, collect free gifts, and spend time with the students. The programme created opportunities for meaningful interaction, bringing people from different backgrounds together through simple activities and conversations.

A big thank you to the students and staff of ASRJC for their time, effort, and generosity in organising this programme for the migrant worker community.

At Hope Village, we are always encouraged to see partners and volunteers using the space to build connections, foster understanding, and create positive experiences for our brothers.

On 1 June, Hope Village @ KBRC welcomed our brothers for an evening of music, friendship, and community. 💛

Featuring performances by Nishi Sraboni and Reshma Shyam, the event brought together familiar songs, enthusiastic applause, and plenty of smiles from the audience throughout the night. 🎤🎵

Alongside the performances, participants enjoyed a free dinner and the excitement of the lucky draw, making for an enjoyable evening spent in good company.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the warm atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you again at Hope Village for future programmes and activities.
