This World Youth Skills Day, we’re sharing a 3-part series on young entrepreneurs building their businesses.

To close the series: Ranti from .collection_24, a fashion designer building her clothing line.

Ranti creates comfortable, easy-to-wear pieces for people of all abilities, making sure more people can feel confident in what they wear.

Through training with Solve Education ’s Solve Business Lab, she is developing the skills needed to run her business. Much of her learning happens through doing, from researching fabrics to refining her designs over time.

She hopes to grow her business and create meaningful livelihood opportunities for others with disabilities.

Ael’s work often happens on the spot, engaging customers through live drawing at event booths.

Through training with Solve Education’s Solve Business Lab, he is building the skills to manage his work and engage directly with customers. He also hopes to see more people across Indonesia learn
Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO), making everyday interactions more inclusive.

First up: Cindy, a photographer at Green Lens Photography .cy.girl.

She is at the early stages of building her business, learning how to grow her photography into something sustainable.

Through training with Solve Education’s Solve Business Lab, she is developing the basics, from understanding her customers and pricing her work to managing finances, while continuing to build her portfolio and find clients. She is building towards opening her own studio.

This International Plastic Bag Free Day, we’re spotlighting Marina Grissin from Common Seas and the Plastic Clever Schools programme, where students are auditing school plastic use, encouraging their families to cut down on single-use plastics, and inspiring change in their own communities.

Meet Randi.

He used to be a traditional fisherman in Telaga Village. Today, he is a Marine Conservation Diver with the Anambas Foundation, spending his days restoring the coral reefs he once unknowingly impacted.

From fisherman to guardian of the sea, Randi's journey reminds us that meaningful conservation starts with the people closest to nature. When local communities are empowered to lead, they become the best stewards of the places they call home.

This World Ocean Month, we celebrate Randi and the many local conservationists dedicating their lives to protecting and restoring our oceans.

Before becoming a dad to twin boys, Kannan spent 15 years navigating the open seas as a Chief Engineer. Today, he’s helping youth in vulnerable communities to navigate the rough waters of life through the Lifeboat Foundation. ⛵️

For Kannan, fatherhood and mentorship are about being truly present and building a safe space where youth can thrive. By supporting single-parent families and young women breaking barriers in their villages, he is proving that family is about who you stand beside and believe in.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, mentors, and father figures building safe harbours for the next generation!
