YMCA International Service Programmes Touching lives, lifting spirits abroad!

YMCA of Singapore serves the less privileged beyond our shores through YMCA International Service Programmes organised in collaboration with our overseas YMCA counterparts. These programmes are currently carried out in Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam where YMCA volunteers would be involved in healthcare and health education, constructi

Being a final year nursing student from SIT this year, Dina’s been saying yes to more side quests and new experiences — and UNI-Y is one of them! Wanting to step out of her comfort zone and serve a community beyond her own, Dina joined UNI-Y with hopes of learning what service truly means while connecting with the people and culture of the Philippines.

Currently pursuing her Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) at NIE, Simin is passionate about education and looks forward to creating meaningful learning experiences for the students we’ll be engaging with in San Pablo.
Through this trip, she hopes to connect with the local community, learn from their stories and experiences, and gain new perspectives that will shape her not only as a person, but also as a future educator.

We’re taking our fundraising efforts one step at a time — literally!

As part of our fundraiser, our team is taking on a virtual run challenge with a collective goal of 30km. For every $1 raised, we’ll run 10 metres towards our goal, with each team member contributing their mileage along the way!

Every donation helps us go the distance while supporting children and youths in San Pablo through education, community development, and the construction of a future youth enterprise hub 🤩

This Father’s Day, celebrate the fathers and father figures who have been a source of strength, guidance, love, and support, while helping to create a brighter future for youths in the Philippines.

As part of the Tri Uni-Y YMCA Project, we are raising funds for the construction of a YMCA Youth Hub in San Pablo, Philippines 🇵🇭. This hub will provide a safe and supportive space where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.

To support this cause, we are selling Father’s Day scented candles as featured in the poster, along with other gift bundles available through our order form. 🕯️ Every purchase contributes directly to the YMCA Youth Hub project, making it a meaningful gift that gives back to the community.
