School of Biblical Studies - YWAM Singapore A 9 month life transforming experience, where you will study the 66 books of the Bible using the inductive method in Singapore, the Gateway to Asia.

An inductive approach is taught, in which students observe what the text says and then let it shape their beliefs. During the school, students will be working, studying, and living in a close knit community of fellow students who are on the journey through the Bible together. They are given hands-on instruction in the principles of observation, interpretation, and application. They will survey each book and discover the big picture, while also digging into the details paragraph by paragraph. Emphasis is placed on understanding the cultural and historic background of each author and original reader of a book. The student will be interpreting Scripture with the mindset of the original reader, then they will take the timeless truths and apply them personally. Students will have opportunities to live out what they are learning; this is not a school of simply head knowledge, but also of practical application. SBS staff will meet weekly with the students to aid in their personal growth, understanding of Scripture, and application of the inductive method.

When David gazed into the sky made by the Creator of heaven and earth, he saw the moon and the stars, crafted and designed by His own hand.

As for man, even though we will pass on one day, He never fails to think about us and to pursue us. Even thought we are insignificance as compared to God, yet He thinks of us every minute and every second!

This is a beautiful moment as God fellowships with man, and man gazes into His creation, praises His workmanship, and worships God as the Creator and Protector of all creation.

In Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, He taught believers that they are the light of the world. This light is not meant to be hidden. Rather, we are to shine and reveal God in all that we do ✨

One of the primary themes of 1 Corinthians is love.

Addressing the division in the Corinth Church, Paul challenges believers to pursue love as the highest gift, urging them to love one another just as Christ has loved them.

Love is the answer ❤️

On this Holy Friday, we take time to meditate upon Jesus’ profound humility and love exhibited on the cross. Here’s a song of reflection, composed and written by Jerry Brownell, reminding us that Jesus’ mission was one of service and sacrifice, rather than worldly greatness.

In the midst of the anguish and agony of the crucifixion, Jesus exemplified the essence of servanthood. He, the embodiment of divinity, willingly embraced the weight of humanity's sins upon his shoulders, so that we may find redemption and reconciliation with our Creator. In this act of love, Jesus demonstrated that true greatness lies not in power or authority, but in humble service to others.

Good Friday reminds us of the depth of God's love for humanity—a love so profound that it led Jesus to willingly endure unimaginable suffering for our sake. It challenges us to reflect on our own lives and consider how we can follow in the footsteps of Jesus by serving others with humility and compassion.
