Mamre Oaks Ltd is a non-profit organization
and an affiliate of Caritas Social Services
Singapore. Founded by a group of friends who
believe that persons with intellectual
disabilities, the weakest in any society, are gifts
from God with their rights to a fulfilling life like
anyone else. Mamre Oaks' vision and mission is to empower
the persons with intellectual disabilities
(namely the Special Pe

rsons or SPs) to lead
lives of meaning, dignity and fulfillment. We
aim to provide and create an environment
where the SPs are welcomed, respected and
valued regardless of their disabilities and
differences. Being an integral part of the Catholic Church,
Mamre Oaks will carry out its businesses
according to the Church's Catholic Social
Teachings. We are founded on Catholic soil
and we warmly welcome all regardless of their
race and religion.

After a morning of cupcake baking, we asked some of our Mamre Oaks members what made them smile that day. 🧁✨

Why volunteer with Mamre Oaks?

A little flour, a little laughter, and a whole lot of togetherness! 🧁💛

Our Mamre Oaks members and volunteers came together for a sweet morning of cupcake baking — measuring, mixing, decorating, and sharing plenty of smiles along the way.

Beyond the cupcakes, it was the simple moments that made the day special — learning together, lending a helping hand, and enjoying each other's company. ✨

Because sometimes, inclusion is as simple as doing things together, building friendships, and making sure everyone has a place to belong. 💛

💛 What's your "Why"?

This year, some of our Mamre Oaks members personalised their Walk with Caritas Family 2026 bibs, each adding their own unique touch.

With colourful drawings, creative decorations, and heartfelt messages, each bib tells a story of someone or something close to their heart. Some chose to walk for persons with Autism, Down syndrome, Cornelia de Lange Syndrome or Intellectual Disability, while others chose to walk for their fellow Mamre Oaks members.

Their "Why" reminds us that every step we take can help build a community where everyone is valued, included, and belongs. ✨
