Tanglin Community Club Its recognisable clock tower and white façade houses several music studios and dance rooms.

Back in the 60s and 70s, there were two community centres serving the Tanglin Constituency. The two buildings of wooden and zinc structures were sited at Kampong Chantek Lam and Onraet Road, serving the residents of the two kampongs. As of today, Tanglin Community Club is the preferred recreational hub for all ages, situated along Whitley Road that offers everyone a destination to get together, ha

ve fun, jam and pick up interesting new skills. Playing host to a wide bevy of martial arts courses including Aikido, Ju-Jitsu, Karate and Muay Thai, as well as wellness and cultural courses unique to itself, Tanglin Community Club has been a pinnacle in the neighbourhood since its inception in 1974. 🎡✨ Tanglin CC Carnival 2026: A Celebration of Community, Creativity and Joy! ✨🎡

What an incredible afternoon at the Tanglin CC Carnival 2026!

From the moment the doors opened, the Multi-Purpose Hall came alive with laughter, excitement, music, games, delicious food, and a wonderful community spirit that brought together residents, families, volunteers, and friends from all walks of life.

The carnival featured an exciting array of activities including arcade games, obstacle challenges, bouncy castles, food stalls, balloon stations, live performances, and lucky draws, creating an atmosphere filled with energy and happiness for both young and old.

One of the highlights of the day was the beautiful Art Gallery Exhibition on Level 2, which showcased an inspiring collection of artworks from:

🎨 Students of St. Joseph’s Institution (SJI)
🎨 Students of Singapore Chinese Girls’ School (SCGS)
🎨 The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO)

The gallery was a powerful reminder of the creativity, imagination, and artistic talents that exist within our community. Visitors were treated to a rich and diverse display of artworks that reflected Singapore’s vibrant cultural spirit and the voices of different generations.

A special thank you goes to all our volunteers, performers, artists, exhibitors, sponsors, community partners, and residents who contributed to making this event such a tremendous success.

Events like these remind us that a community is not simply built by buildings and facilities, but by people coming together, sharing experiences, celebrating talents, and creating memories.

Congratulations to the Tanglin Community Club team and all supporting organisations for delivering a truly memorable carnival that showcased the very best of community life.

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, the Tanglin Community Club family mourns the passing of our beloved former Chairman and Patron, Madam Teo Meng Hua.

Madam Teo was a remarkable leader, a visionary Chairman, and a pillar of warmth and kindness within our community. Her dedication, foresight, and unwavering commitment helped shape Tanglin CC into a place of friendship, care, and belonging. Beyond her leadership, she was deeply caring and loving towards all members, always extending kindness, encouragement, and a genuine concern for those around her.

Her presence brought people together, and her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched and inspired. She was not only a leader, but also a friend, mentor, and guiding light to many.

Madam Teo will be greatly missed, but her spirit, compassion, and contributions will forever remain in our hearts.

Our deepest condolences go out to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Madam Teo Meng Hua. Your legacy will always be remembered. 🕊️🤍
