Migrant Workers' Centre The MWC is a non-government organisation whose mission is to champion fair employment practices. Regular violators could be blocked from posting.

Set up in 2009, the Migrant Workersโ€™ Center (MWC) is a bipartite initiative of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and the Singapore National Employersโ€™ Federation (SNEF), with the following objectives to promote the overall well-being of migrant workers:

โ€ข MWC provides humanitarian care and protection for needy and distressed migrant workers while they await settlement of claims

โ€ข MWC provides advice, assistance and representation through the dispute resolution processes

โ€ข MWC facilitates social acceptance and integration through outreach activities, advocacy and public education

โ€ข MWC provides opportunities for social interaction and upgrading for migrant workers to promote a harmonious co-existence and a stronger public conscience for migrant worker welfare

๐Ÿ‘•โœจ Our Flea Market is back and we need your help!

Last year, we were overwhelmed by the kindness of companies and individuals who donated new and pre-loved clothes in good condition for our migrant brothers ๐Ÿ’› Thanks to your generosity, countless items found new homes!

This year, we would love for you to be part of the journey again ๐ŸŒŸ Clear out your wardrobe and give your clothes a second life by dropping them off at our offices ๐Ÿ“ฆ You can even rally your friends, classmates, or colleagues and organise a donation drive at your school or workplace!

A gentle reminder:
- Clothes need to be in new or good-as-new condition.
- Do not donate stained, damaged or worn-out items.

Not able to donate clothes? We're also looking for volunteers to help with sorting and packing before the event, and distribution on the day itself ๐Ÿ™Œ Every helping hand makes a difference and helps make the Flea Market a meaningful experience for our migrant brothers.

What a fun day at our MWC Ambassadorsโ€™ Appreciation Event! ๐ŸŽ‰

The event was filled with laughter, music, games and so many memorable moments. One of the highlights was seeing MWC ambassadors take the stage to perform their own songs in their own languages. ๐ŸŽถโค๏ธ

Even though we may not have understood every language, everyone was cheering, clapping and showing their support as our ambassadors gave it their all! ๐Ÿ™Œ

The day also brought our MWC Ambassadors together for a special Star Ambassador Pinning Ceremony โญ , followed by plenty of fun at the game booths, Bingo and emoji sessions hosted by Singapore Polytechnic Rotaract Club. ๐Ÿ˜Š
