Today is Tong Yun's 5th birthday, and his 1 year 3 month anniversary with his new family. We'd like to dedicate his birthday to spreading awareness about dogs like him.

Dogs like him, are used for breeding to provide puppies to be sold for human profits. Whether in licensed facilities or unlicensed facilities, this is the purpose they are used for. Some rescued, some not rescued yet, some who will never be found or ever rescued or ever experience what it is like to be loved like family. If you've been following us, you know our stand about the sales and commercialization of dogs. Giving them a platform for their stories to be seen and heard is choosing not to downplay the impact of breeding on the dogs used for them. They are living, sentient beings.

There’s a common myth that street dogs are “too wild” or “untrainable.” The reality? They make some of the most fiercely loyal, adaptable, and loving family members you could ever ask for.
