The 38th ASEAN Council of Teachers + 1 (Korea)(ACT+1) Convention just came to a successful closure in Bangkok hosted by Khurusapha The Council of Teachers with participation from nine countries including representatives of Singapore Teachers' Union, Kesatuan Guru-Guru Melayu Singapura, and Singapore Tamil Teachers' Union, themed “Promoting Happy Schooling and Sustainability in Education”, with informative and insightful keynote presentation, panel discussion, country reports and parallel sessions. It is important that our children are happy in schools and find learning a joyful endeavour, where they can discover and pursue their passion. The key is happy teachers who create magic in the classrooms! After all, teacher well-being is student well-being.
The Convention will be hosted by the Philippine Public School Teachers Association in 2025.
