🎟️ A Strong Start to SIGEP Asia x Restaurant Asia 2026!

Over two dynamic days, the International Food & Beverage Association (IFBA), in collaboration with Hospitality Alliance Singapore (HAS), was proud to lead its international delegation programme at SIGEP Asia x Restaurant Asia 2026 in Singapore, bringing together hospitality professionals, industry leaders, partners and delegates from across Asia and Europe.

📍 Day 1 | 15 July – Opening, Leadership & Connections

The IFBA delegation joined the official Opening Ceremony at Marina Bay Sands, where Guest-of-Honour Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, reaffirmed Singapore's continued commitment to strengthening the hospitality and tourism sectors through innovation, collaboration and service excellence.

🔖 The day's programme continued with the Leadership Symposium – "The Intelligent Restaurant: Less Admin, More Hospitality," officially opened by Dr. Ilaria Cicero, CEO of IEG Asia, exploring how technology, innovation and operational excellence are transforming hospitality and restaurant operations.

🔺 A particular privilege was the opportunity to strengthen relationships with fellow industry organisations, including the Indonesian Purchasing Association and the Indonesian Hotel & Restaurant Association (PHRI), reinforcing the importance of regional cooperation within the hospitality ecosystem.

📍 Day 2 | 16 July – IFBA International Roundtable

🔺 Key highlights of the programme of 16 July was the IFBA International Roundtable: "From Globalisation to a Multipolar Reality", held in collaboration with Hospitality Alliance Singapore, where leaders explored how global economic shifts, regional integration and changing operating realities are redefining hospitality and F&B across Asia.

📯 Reflecting on the programme, IFBA President Cheong Hai Poh shared:

From 15–17 July 2026, Singapore will host one of the most important gatherings for the global foodservice and hospitality industry: SIGEP Asia & Restaurant ASIA 2026, taking place at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands.

Now in its third edition, the event continues to expand as a strategic platform connecting chefs, suppliers, operators, and investors across the F&B and Ho.Re.Ca. ecosystem. With Southeast Asia’s rapidly growing market and increasing demand for premium and innovative food experiences, SIGEP Asia plays a critical role in shaping the industry’s future.
