[๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ Hijrah Walk 2026]

It was wonderful to join more than 500 residents from Chua Chu Kang GRC and Bukit Gombak SMC at Hijrah Walk 2026, together with Min Tan See Leng, Ag Min Jeffrey Siow ๏ผˆ่งๆŒฏ็ฅฅ๏ผ‰, MOS Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim and second adviser Chua Wei-Shan.

The annual walk commemorates the spirit of Hijrah, with its themes of perseverance, renewal and community. Beyond the walk itself, it was heartening to see residents of different ages and backgrounds coming together โ€” catching up with neighbours, making new friends and spending time as a community.

We were especially heartened to see a strong turnout from Tengah residents, with many families, seniors and volunteers taking part in the morning's activities.

My deepest appreciation to Tengah MAEC tengahmaec, Al-Khair Mosque Al-Khair Mosque, Al-Firdaus Mosque, Pusara Aman Mosque and Harmony Circle Harmony Circles for their partnership and support, as well as the volunteers and residents who helped make the event possible.

Our weekend bonding affairs have gone up to another level, it's not just walking & exercising but there's a new slot where we grooves to the traditional songs.

Fyi, we will be incorporating a free Digital Workshop for our Seniors and all levels, starting in July.

We spent the morning at Blk 238 Tengah Garden Walk with our Muslim residents gathering for Eid al-Adha prayers on Hari Raya Haji. ๐ŸŒ™

Many families, neighbours and the community came together in prayer and reflection on this meaningful occasion.

My sincere appreciation to Al-Khair Mosque, all Qaryah volunteers, grassroots leaders, and Mยณ Chua Chu Kang for working with Tengah MAEC tengahmaec to make this possible!

Hari Raya Haji reminds us of the values of sacrifice, compassion and caring for one another.

Across Singapore, families and loved ones will gather for prayers, meals and time together, while reflecting on the importance of generosity, gratitude and service to others. These shared values continue to strengthen the bonds within our communities and bring people closer together.

In Tengah, we are thankful for the many residents, volunteers and community partners who continue to contribute their time and care towards building a more caring and inclusive town for all.

Wishing all our Muslim communities a blessed and meaningful Selamat Hari Raya Haji. May this special occasion bring peace, joy and good health to you and your loved ones ๐ŸŒ™โœจ

Hari Raya Haji mengingatkan kita tentang nilai-nilai pengorbanan, belas kasihan dan saling mengambil berat antara satu sama lain.

Di seluruh Singapura, seisi keluarga dan orang-orang tersayang akan berkumpul untuk solat, makan dan meluangkan masa bersama, sambil merenungkan kepentingan kemurahan hati, rasa syukur dan khidmat kepada orang lain. Dear residents,

We are glad to share the details of the prayer space for Hari Raya Haji in Tengah. We hope these prayer arrangements will make it easier for seniors, families, and residents of all ages to perform their Hari Raya Haji prayers closer to home.

[๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ Tengah Twins]

We met our 23rd pair of twins during the recent Hari Raya celebration at Blk 238 Tengah Garden Walk ๐Ÿ˜Š

Meet Isaiah and Josiah, both just 7 months old, from Antheaโ€™s family. The little ones were calm and curious, taking in the surroundings as we spent a moment with them and their family.

Anthea shared that she has been happy with the amenities around her estate, and it is heartening to hear how residents are settling into Tengah as the town continues to grow.

Wishing Isaiah and Josiah a joyful childhood ahead as they grow up in Tengah!
