Ray of Hope

Ray of Hope Ray of Hope is a crowdfunding charity committed to serving emerging and unmet needs in Singapore. These are the people Ray of Hope stands for.

Many struggle in silence because they don’t qualify for aid via existing support systems. Ray of Hope is much more than a crowdfunding platform. We are a registered charity and Institution of Public Character (IPC) that empowers our community by connecting donors, beneficiaries, partners and volunteers alike. On Saturday, we gathered for an afternoon centred on one idea: women supporting women.

What followed was an honest conversation about solidarity and the strength of community. Two moments stayed with us:

Ms Elysa Chen reminded us that to truly understand what women and caregivers need, we have to ask them one simple question: “Anything else?”

And when someone says “I’m fine” — don’t accept it. Because so often, the hardest part isn’t the struggle itself. It’s feeling like you’re not allowed to ask for help.

If this sounds like someone you know, someone who may be struggling financially but finds it hard to ask for help, please reach out to us.

Send us a DM. We’ll listen, and where we can, we’ll see how best to help.

Thank you to everyone who came and shared a piece of themselves. We felt every bit of it. 🤍

More than $5 million was raised in the first few months of 2026.

It is a number we are deeply grateful for, but the real weight of it is felt in the stories it made possible.

In a child who could continue school without another disruption. In a migrant brother who received help at a point when things felt especially heavy. In a baby whose family could focus on treatment, instead of carrying the full cost alone.

This is what crowdfunding can do.

It turns individual acts of giving into something larger. One person gives what they can. Another shares the page. Someone else tells a friend. And slowly, help begins to take shape.

Thank you for being part of this community.

Help can begin with something simple.

A few people reading a story. Someone choosing to give. A community showing up for a family they may never meet.

At Ray of Hope, crowdfunding helps make this possible. It gives people a safe, trusted way to ask for help, and gives others a meaningful way to respond.

Because behind every campaign is a person, a family, and a real need.

To En Ci, data is never just data. It’s a breadcrumb trail of needs, gaps, lived experiences. It’s her passion to follow that trail with heart and precision.

Every spreadsheet, every trend line, every pattern hides a story that matters. En Ci’s the one making sure those stories don’t go unheard. She helps us see beyond the numbers, connect the dots, and turn insights into action.

Because at Ray of Hope, we don’t just deal in data. We deal in dignity.

Happy Mother’s Day to the mothers and mother figures who keep showing up every day 💕

This Mother’s Day, we’re also thinking of mothers who are trying to hold things together for their children through difficult circumstances.

Emma, Mdm Kamsiah, and Mdm Jaya are each working towards stability, one step at a time.

If you’d like to support them this Mother’s Day, you can scan the QR codes on each slide to contribute directly to their campaigns.

Silvia is raising two children on her own while building something of her own along the way.

To support her family, she began creating custom jewellery and resin pieces under the name Happy Lileben, inspired by her children, Ellie and Ben. For Silvia, the name carries a simple truth. Even after the hardest chapters, happiness can still bloom.

Her story is one of quiet courage. After nearly a decade in an abusive home, Silvia found the strength to start again. Today, her small business is both a source of income and a reminder of how far she has come.
