SiloamXperience Outreach Limited (SOL) is about PEOPLE. It was birthed with a mission to bring about

awareness in people that they have the power to help themselves and to make a difference in the community they live. Based on a not-for-profit philosophy, SOL is a volunteer-driven organisation. And it is driven by its purpose – empowering every individual! In all of our outreach projects, SOL is careful to ensure that all projects are conducted responsibly and sustainably. Most of our projects are funded by personal donation from individuals, fees and contributions for services rended, and sales of our second-hand items in good condition. Here at SOL, we are intentional in building a community of people who care to make a difference, however small or big the gesture may be. SOL also works collaboratively with schools, organization and individuals in a variety of fields. Background of SiloamXperience

SiloamXperience started in 2003 as a partnership entity running trainings and camps for Family Service Centres, Schools and Corporate Companies. This entity was closed in 2007 and SiloamXperience LLP was started in 2008 with the blessings of the partners from the first entity (who are now volunteers in the current entity). Under the LLP entity, SiloamX runs workshops and provides educational support for schools, Family Service Centres and corporate sector in order to support humanitarian works in the third world countries. With the inclusion of humanitarian works (mostly overseas), the services of LLP entity gradually evolved to include a thrift store to bring awareness of the plight of the people in the third world countries and to aid various other humanitarian groups as well. The works and projects of SiloamX in Cambodia have spread and expanded through the years and so have the work done here in Singapore. For the past five years, through SiloamX’s thrift corner, poor families in Singapore have been assisted by allowing them to shop at the store at a very subsidized rate. Through a vision given to SiloamX’s director (2011), the Lord made the ministry’s direction clear. As advised by the lawyers, SiloamX’s organization was restructured into a CLG (Company limited by Guarantee) in order to grow and expand as a social enterprise. Therefore under the new entity, SiloamX will be starting a storehouse with the objectives of supporting various mission groups and humanitarian effort to the poor locally and overseas. SiloamX has outgrown its previous space at 47 Chun Tin Road; it has moved to a bigger place to continue it work. Governance and management
